  1. So, instead of having just 3 options of width of the erasor :
    - adding a cursor of thikness, so that we can ourselves choose what we need
    - adding a cursor of opacity of the erasor
    - making it more pixel precise (currently, it is too rough)
    - possibility of creating, let's say, 3 different but PERSONALIZED erasers : like one small and at 100%, one medium but at 40% opacity etc...

This will save us a lot of time ! Thanks

  2. The ability to record in the note and have it write it out as a text format like on Google Docs speech to text, or the Google pixel recording app feature. This would be great for people with disabilities as well.

  4. Allow the eraser option to either remove by stroke or just the way it is
Making our own pallete (this would include a colour picker)
Allow the users to have the ability to control their pen stabiliser (similar to that of digital drawing softwe)
Making our own page templates or importing from the web
    Pinning pens with different colours
Most windows styli has two buttons it would be great to allow the user to change commands between those two buttons
Zooming in and out is a bit laggy as well as writing very quickly
    Costumising page size
    Brush imports or…

  7. Improve the handwriting recognition speed. Currently the pen feature will lag behind writing unless you write slowly, and this leads to very messy handwriting.

  8. In the iOS version you can select a portion of the screen with the lasso tool and make a screenshot. The screenshot can then be pasted into any GoodNotes document pressing and holding a point on an opened document.
This functionality is particularly useful for doing homework and copying the exercise description on to a new page in order to work on it.

  9. The current options for covers are sort of limiting. For example, the solid white cover automatically has a yellow line, but I would like a green or a red line instead. An option to customize the color(s) of the cover would be awesome.

  11. In the windows Beta, in portrait view, there is a sort of enforced margin, in that you can't display the full page and can only start writing about an inch in. In landscape view this doesn't appear to be a problem but this isn't the most natural way to use a notebook for writing

  14. I wish I could write/erase/highlight(select texts) with just the mouse, not necessarily with my laptop pen.

  15. I am unable to test because it keeps auto signing me into my school account. There should be a way to opt out of auto sign-in and/or a way to choose how to sign in.

  16. Since most of the pc are without stylus laptops, it would be inclusive of most type of hardware including pc, laptop and mac. Generating an integration with graphic pads like wacom and huion, with their pen, pressure sensitivity, fine adjustment area and commands of both button and soft keys could support a large array of devices. The current beta does not support it, writing makes the complete screen flicker and does not enable writing of any sort. It would also enable fine use of drawing and open up a new polished version of digital art

  17. For students it may be necessary print anotations that they made in goodnotes.

  18. I have quite a number of annotated notes i refer to do my homework/revision. With synced accounts it would be great as all my saved files will be viewable on both screens. I would be able to have another screen to use while referring to my notes. Currently, I divide my iPad screen into my imported annotated notes and a notebook for me to do my homework. It is hard to write on my iPad with only half the screen available.

  19. I'd like a mode in which Goodnotes will only accept stylus pen input as drawing input, with other touch input zooming or panning the page. For example, Goodnotes would accept my Surface Pen input as a brushstroke, but when I used my finger, it would scroll my notebook between pages.

Thank you for your feedback! GoodNotes for Windows already support stylus only writing. Once you start using stylus, GoodNotes understands that you're drawing with stylus and uses your finger input for selections and gestures (e.g panning, zooming).

Please let us know if it doesn't work as you expected it to be.

  20. When I try to dot my i's or try to write colons (:) the dots are hit or miss on their thickness or whether they even register. I'm using a Surface Pen (No Clip) with an ASUS Zenbook 14 Flip on Windows 10. Not sure if this is a fixable issue, and it's not awful, but this is feedback, after all!
