  1. Other Android apps allow use of the physical eraser button of the stylus, but this does not work so far with S-Pen on Galaxy Tab. Selection eraser from the software menu is not very convenient and subpar to other notes apps.

  2. You should be able to convert your handwriting to math like with Notability. When you write a note and hit convert, a math option should come up so you can simply convert your handwriting into proper typed math symbols.

  3. I would like to have the zoom tool that creates a square that zoom in and allows you to write in this zoomed section (like the one that exist in the iOS app).

  4. Making GoodNotes for Windows a Web app by simply dumping it through Swift to WASM immediately makes the app use significantly more resources and hinders the overall experience and battery life, causing pen inputs to have a significant delay and require online connectivity, etc. This kind of experience is NOT what you would want your users on an ipad to use, so why Windows?

Like you did for iOS, please make GoodNotes for Windows a native Windows App instead of a PWA. This mess is NOT the path your team should be going down.

  6. When I'm writing on my convertible laptop with a pen I can't change the setting of the pressure. I would like to have the option to disable it so all of my letters would be the same thickness.

  7. an implementation like Anki to review cards.
for example extra categorie where a card can be reviewed where the categorie name would be the name of the notebook in which the flashcards are.
And a RemNote like usability for the flashcards.

  8. Hello, GoodNotes Developers

I’m glad that I can use GoodNotes in Android.

GoodNotes, which works on web app, will not create the experience of using GoodNotes on iPad. That's why you have to make it work as a native app.

The limitations of web app are clear. For example, latency.

To compete with Samsung Note (Free to download!!), you need to provide a better experience.

I understand that it is a beta version now, but I hope it becomes a native app when it is released as an official version.

  9. it could be very useful and efficient if we could make the page full screen. So we could close the window where we see all the pages and have a full-screen white page. I have attached an example

  10. Hello Goodnotes team,

I'm an Essential plan user on Goodnotes 6 for Android and I really appreciate your app. However, I would like to suggest adding a "split screen" feature to the Android app.

This feature would allow users to open and use two or more documents (from the same Goodnotes app) simultaneously on the same screen, which would greatly improve productivity, especially when taking notes and comparing documents.

Given that this feature of opening documents in a new window already exists on iPadOS, it would be fair to extend it to all users of the app.

    Thank you in…

  15. Auto show outline of an imported document (e.g. textbooks) and allow us to create outlines and bookmarks for our own notes.

For reference, Flexcil has this function (shown in the screenshot below)

  16. Hello dear developers,
I always work with different templates.
When I work with the black template, I always have to laboriously switch the pen colors.
Is it not possible to save the pen colors together with the worksheet?

Furthermore, more sheet colors would be nice, e.g. gray, red and green.
I am aware that I could create my own templates. But most of the time the grid does not fit.
Why not do it the same way as with the pens, that the background color can also be chosen from a color table?
    Many greetings Ernst

  17. On Android, if you want to insert something between your handwritten notes — for example, to add a new paragraph or image you can’t select and drag your notes to the next page like you can on the iPad version. This makes rearranging or adding content in the middle of a page quite difficult. It would be great if the Android version supported the same smooth page movement and selection features as the iPad app.

  18. Stylus Pen has an erase button, which can switch to eraser mode when holding the button and dragging to an area. It works on most applications on Windows but is currently not supported by GoodNotes.

  20. I downloaded the app because I'm jealous of all the Apple users and the good notes app. I love the functionality that I witness others being able to use. This Android version has a long way to go. The first two things that I would like to see happen is horizontal scrolling and hyperlinks working. For example I have a 365-day journal but I cannot click on the hyperlinked days to jump from date to date. And I cannot horizontally scroll I have to vertical scroll all the way from January 1st to current date. That is tedious and very…
