  4. Paper Color - Unable to Change

    Whether starting a new notebook or changing a page template, I cannot change the page color. It lets me select yellow, for example - but after I hit apply, no change.... the page stays white. Same for choosing dark. I can select from the designs such as dotted, lined, grid etc, and those changes work as expected, but the color does nothing.

  5. Deleting paper page bug

    If you delete the paper page, you are not able to convert from a cover template to a paper template. If you select to add a new page, it just adds a new cover template.

  6. managing files and folders in the windows file explorer

    goodnotes as a windows native app with the created files and folders accessible/managable throu the file explorer.
    option to choose where to save the files (saving on another drive for example, switching standart folder would also be useful)

    the folders and subfolders created in the app are made in the selcted folder, accessing it via file explorer will give you the exact same strukture

    advantages:
    -easy selecting of specific files via explorer without the need to exit already opend files (if you need to look something up while working on homework)
    -possibillity to share specifi files or complete folders without…

  8. Allow tablets to access, such as a galaxy tablet.

    So that we can write on the tablet with a Samsung pen, etc.

  9. being able to add animated pictures or files

    I think it would be extremely beneficial to the GoodNotes app if a feature were available to upload animated pictures or files to the app. Majority of people who use GoodNotes are students and having this feature available would make more people/students want to use this app rather than other note taking apps. I have already considered looking into other apps considering GoodNotes doesnt allow this feature. I have found myself wanting this feature way too many times along with other students. I think this would make the app 10 times better.

  10. Tape feature

    A tape feature like in the Ios version or even a downgraded Version of this would actually be amazing. I really abused the feature for spaced repetition while I still used my Ipad (gave it to a relative). With a Tape feature on Windows the majority of med students without an Ipad would give you all their money.

  13. Convert Handwriting to Typed text in Android using lasso tool

    This feature has been available on the iOS version for a long time, and when I tried it on my friend's iPad, it was the main reason I decided to purchase GoodNotes.
    I was shocked to find out that it is not available on the Android version. I definitely won't renew my subscription if this feature is still missing when it's up for renewal next summer.

  14. Full Backup (and Restore) of all Goodnotes documents on local or cloud drives

    I woud like to backup (and possibly restore) my work (several hundred pages) manual or periodically on a local NAS (I'm not a friend of cloud drives).
    This is important in case of a physical or accidental damage to my android tablet.

  15. Please make goodnotes available on samsung phones

    Please make goodnotes available on samsung phones, the way it's available on iPhone. Especially on the ultra series that has the S-Pen. It was nice to be able to look at my notes from my iPhone after I had wrote them down on my iPad, but was sad when the app can't be downloaded onto the galaxy phones, because sometimes I won't have my iPad, but would want to study/review my notes on the go with my phone.

  16. Math feature suggestions

    In the iOS 18 update there will be a feature in the calculator app where you can handwrite math equations and it will automatically generate an answer in your handwriting after an equals sign. It will also edit its answer as you edit the equation. This could be a cool feature to implement into Goodnotes even if it just gives you an answer when you convert an unanswered equation into maths. Addition: adding a math feature where you can type out math equations in the same way you would type math equations into word would be amazing. I also love…

  17. Ability to view fonts

    The goodnotes app doesn't even show the fonts option to change fonts on windows. You're just stuck with one font the entire time. Big fail and deal breaker.
