Ability to import documents
It'd be awesome if the Windows application can support document imports just like the iOS app. Importing lecture slides to annotate note is an integral part of our study workflow, having this ability would help a lot of students out there.
📣 Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce that Goodnotes for Windows and Android now supports PDF document imports! You can now easily import any PDF document into Goodnotes for Windows and annotate it as you please.
We want to hear from you all about what other types of documents you need us to support. Let us know and we'll make note-taking even easier. Thank you for your continued support and feedback!

I think you can update your app by just restarting it.

Do you mind updating the post as to when this will actually be released as the note above gets people excited about the update? People are looking all over for the functionality which isn't there today. In the MS store the last update to the app was in Feb. - Thank you.

I also still cannot import, despite the admin note above and email telling me so.

When will we have an update? From what was announced, the option to import PDF files into GoodNotes has been available since March 3, but so far I am unable to perform this function in my GoodNotes.

Why doesn't my GoodNotes for Windows screen look like the one posted by the Goodnotes Admin? I can't add folders...

Insert from another program such as PowerPoint or Excel.
As person who use a lot of notes taking at work being able to insert tables or graphics form another program is really useful. -

I was excited to use this for digital planning, but it doesn't allow me to import my files. Can't wait for the update :)

I would love to be able to import some of my existing pages from the iOS version into this beta version. I'm essentially having to start all over building some templates I already have created (bullet journals, etc.)

As an educator, this was the whole reason for me wanting to get GoodNotes so that I could hand write notes (on pdfs) live with my students. Without this capability, this is basically useless.

Being able to insert documents, such as pdfs would be awesome, as I use pdf notes for school. Think it would be very useful for students, teachers, etc...
