  1. Instead of circling the whole area or letter that is needed to be moved or adjusted, it would be better if we could possibly just select the individual letter/area needing to be moved. Also, while selecting the area/letters, it would be nice to change the color or font type/size .

  3. Hi, thank you for allowing Windows users to test the Beta version. I like the rendering of the lasso tool; it moves very smoothly. I also like the varying options of the notebook covers and page choices.

Below are 6 additions that will improve the current & future version's productivity & functionality:

    1. audio recording feature (+ audio following written or typed words written at that time when audio is played back)
      * good for students needing to relisten to specific parts of the lecture

    2. typing feature
      * allow ability to type AND draw rather than just drawing (this'll help take…

  4. goodnotes as a windows native app with the created files and folders accessible/managable throu the file explorer.
option to choose where to save the files (saving on another drive for example, switching standart folder would also be useful)

the folders and subfolders created in the app are made in the selcted folder, accessing it via file explorer will give you the exact same strukture

    advantages:
-easy selecting of specific files via explorer without the need to exit already opend files (if you need to look something up while working on homework)
-possibillity to share specifi files or complete folders without…

  5. These are my ideas after a quick use of good notes (Lots of desired improvements but great start)
    1) Use a slide as a way to choose the size of the pen/eraser, or at least add 2 more sizes to choose between
    2) Delete comments
    3) Use your fingers to move or resize lassoed notes
    4) Use the keyboard to type notes
    5) Shapes and Coordinate Axes
    6) Ink to Shape and Ink to Math
    7) Look up handwriting to find documents

  7. I take notes with Wacom devices, and the pen here doesn't detect any pressure sensitivity and my shortcut buttons don't work.

  9. Similarly to IOS it would be great to have a "pressure pen" that varies in thickness depending on the pressure

  10. I can't find an option to delete a comment afterwards. So it would be great if you could add this feature.

  13. I think that is essential for students and professors to have the Voice recording feature (that is recently already available on Goodnotes for iPad) on Goodnotes for Windows. This feature that allows you to replay the ink/drawings you made while taking note and the related audio recording is great and it can be the main point of why windows users should choose Goodnotes instead of other millions of note taking apps already available on the microsoft App Store.

  16. As a student collaborating with others on GoodNotes, comments are used to share additional information or as a way to summarize pages and chapters. Hence, it would be great if it was possible to view all comments that have been written on the documents, without having to scroll to every single page.

  18. Just to compile the ideas I have seen.
    1. Shapes. Premade shapes, stIcky notes. So far I've been just making my own templates and copy and pasting, but I don't like constantly switching journals to do that.
    2. Ability to recolor what we have wrote with our stylus.
    3. more colors! Hex codes.
    4. Maybe watercolor brushes.
    5. import pictures or screenshots from websites.
    6. Lines automatically straight or have a ruler tool.
    7. More pen size! I love having the ability to vary my pen size.
    8. Hyperlinks to other parts of my motes. for example,I link to section…

  19. I tried the Windows Beta today. Hit the download link and installed from the Windows Store. Was unpleasantly surprised to find that it's just an Edge-based web app. I prefer Chrome over edge but continued anyway. It changed my default browser to Edge without my permission. It took many tries to sign into my existing Microsoft account. I finally got a Goodnotes window but all that was displayed was a pulsating GN icon. I never got a UI at all.

  20. The back and forth buttons please either left or right. The distance to the buttons is too far for a right-handed person.
