I use the typing feature mostly when I am using my iPad. Using it on my PC would be nice when I can't access my iPad. I won't use this app on Windows until the app has the typing feature.

I currently dont have a tablet, but in the process of getting one that has pen capabilities. Not being able to type with the keyboard, im sorry, thats just insanity. (So is not being able to share the documents with other versions, like android... some of us dont have the money to go out and just purchase a brand new tablet or whatever at the drop of the hat!)

Agreed. I understand this is in Beta, but launching a beta for a computer without a Text Took/keyboard is a huge oversight.

I too would like to be able to write text in Goodnotes on the Surface Pro 9, it's an amazing notetaking app and hope it has the full functions like Goodnotes 5 on a Mac.

Currently using onenote on my computer, but id switch to goodnotes in a second if this happened. I use goodnotes for my ipad, but id like to use it on my pc too.

For this to be an alternative to any notetaking app that is used across platforms (I currently use Evernote) it has to have both text and pen support. Different use cases for different platforms but it is amazing to have it all in a single application that is shared across PC, phone and tablet. I want to be able to handwrite notes on my iPad but then create more structured typed on content on my PC.

Typing was not my priority for this app to be honest. Since it can be done on many alternative programs. I was especially happy about the highlighter tool to use on images. But today i also needed the text tool and i think it would make the app much stronger. I have been using the goodnotes app on ipad for more than 7 years now and am excited to use it on my windows computer as well

I can't use the app until text tool is available but it looks like a decent onenote alternative that hopefully will add the text tool soon.

I would like the Windows version of GoodNotes to be available keyboard typing. And also, I would like GoodNotes to be able to easily connect and share between the ios and windows versions. Some apps can't be easily shared, so please make sure that doesn't happen.
