Hello! We’re excited to let you know that we’ve updated the Text tool and introduced a new dedicated floating menu for text boxes, including more customization options.
One of the new tools is Pin Text Tool — when enabled, it keeps the Text tool active so you can create multiple text boxes continuously without having to reselect it each time.
This is especially helpful when you're focused on adding or adjusting text in your notes. The pin will automatically turn off once you switch to another tool.
Feel free to try it out and let us know how it works for you!
This improvement is available in the latest Apple update.

An error occurred while saving the comment I'm struggling with my studies right now because of the worst update ever.
Things especially I want restored:
① Toolbar
Please restore the history that was on the right side of the element, image, and sticker buttons (as shown in the image).② Bookmark
Please restore it so I can immediately see if a bookmark is attached in the top right corner, and make it easier to press.
Also restore the bookmark section within the pages (as shown in the image).③ Entire toolbar
Please revert this area. This update brought nothing positive.I realize fixing everything is difficult, so at the very least, please allow us to cancel this update.
This app has been incredibly helpful to me, but this time is different.
I still want to continue studying with this app, so please consider this request.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー

私は今最悪のアップデートのせいで、勉強に苦しんでいます。
特に元に戻して欲しいもの
①toolbar
element, image, stickerの右側にあった履歴を元に戻してほしい（画像のように）②bookmark
ブックマークがついているか右上ですぐわかるように、そして押しやすいように元に戻して欲しい。
pagesの中のブックマークの項目も元に戻して欲しい。③toolbarの全て
ここを元に戻して欲しい。このアップデートで何もいいことがなかった。全て直すのは大変だと思うので、せめて私たちにアップデートをキャンセルできるようにして欲しい。
私はこのアプリにすごく助けられてきたが、今回は違うり
まだこのアプリで勉強を続けたいので、検討お願いします。 -

① Toolbar
Please restore the history that was on the right side of the element, image, and sticker buttons (as shown in the image1).
And after using this new version for a month, I've noticed that various functions can no longer be operated intuitively.
❶Text tool
Previously, even while entering text, you could change the text length by dragging the dot (・). Now, you can only do this after finishing text input.
Also, the pop-up menu allowing options like "Copy/Paste/Paste and Match Style" no longer appears for text functions, making it harder to use. (It does appear for pen functions, etc.)
The text tool probably uses icons to indicate functions, like in Image 2, but there's no copy or cut option, making it confusing. Why was this changed?
❷ Eraser behavior after auto-deselection
As explained in Image 3, previously, after writing with the pen and erasing with the eraser, you could return to the pen tool. Even if you selected another function and then returned to the pen tool, you could continue writing with the pen immediately.
However, now, after writing with the pen and erasing with the eraser, if you switch back to the pen, select another function, and then return to the pen function, it reverts to the eraser. This significantly degrades usability.
Isn't this a drawback of merging the pen tools? Please revert this immediately.
We request prompt improvement.

そして、この新しいバージョンをこの1ヶ月使ってみて、さまざまな機能が直感的な操作で行えなくなっていることに気づきました。
❶Text tool
以前はテキストを入力している最中でも、・の部分をドラックすることでテキストの長さを変更できたのに、今はテキストを入力し終わってからでないとできない。
また、「コピー・ペースト・ペーストしてスタイルを合わせる」などを選択できる吹き出しがテキストの機能では出現せず、使いにくくなった。(ペン機能などでは出てくる)
テキストツールでは画像2の上のようにアイコンで機能を示しているのだろうが、コピーもカットもないし、分かりにくい。なぜこうしたのか。
❷消しゴムの自動選択解除後の動き
画像3の説明のように、以前はペンで書いて、消しゴムで消したあとはペンに戻り、他の機能を選んでからペン機能に戻っても、そのままペンで書き続けることができた。
しかし今は、ペンで書いて、消しゴムで消したあとはペンに戻り、他の機能を選んでからペン機能に戻ると、消しゴムに戻っており、操作性が格段に下がった。
ペンツールを合併した弊害なのではないだろうか。すぐに元に戻してほしい。
早く改善をお願いします。
