    Yes, I agree. Having to use lasso tool > send to back every single time I highlight on black paper is so annoying. This also happens on black whiteboards.

    Hello,

    We’re thrilled to say that we hear you—one of our most-requested features, Layers, is on its way!

    Layers is gradually rolling out to Goodnotes Pro users on iPad and Mac. This early version supports up to 5 layers in notebooks. Please note that it isn’t available during a Pro trial.


    Layers is currently experimental, so your feedback is especially important. Please share your experience to help us understand how—and whether—we should develop the feature further.

    This is the one reason I can't commit to Goodnotes. I love it otherwise. But I hate going back and forth between so many folders.
