An app-wide setting to hide AI buttons would be useful, ideally with separate toggles for individual features. Some people may want one AI tool but not the rest, and removing unused controls from the toolbar would make the writing space feel less crowded.

Please include the device model, OS version, Goodnotes version, and whether the issue happens without audio recording. If it only occurs during recording, that points to a performance bottleneck under the combined workload. Keeping the original pen-input points when rendering catches up would also prevent a delayed stroke from becoming a straight line.

A small page indicator beside the controls would make long-document navigation easier, especially if it also opened a page-number field for jumping directly to a page. The buttons could sit near the screen edge and fade slightly when idle, with a setting to move or hide them so they don't cover handwriting.

Subtle transitions would make Android, Windows, and Web feel more coherent, but they should stay brief and never delay pen input or page navigation. A reduced-motion option would also help users who find movement distracting. Consistency across platforms matters more than copying every iPad animation.
Calendar sync would be most useful if users could choose which Google calendars appear, then create or edit events from a linked Goodnotes planner page. Two-way sync should avoid duplicate events and respect calendar permissions.
