An error occurred while saving the comment Ariel commentedWhat is not spelled out in that article is how much "a point" is. When importing a PDF as a template, one inch = 132 points. (This is presumably because the iPad 2 had a screen resolution of 132 pixels/inch.) When importing an image as a template, I think that "a point" is one pixel, but I usually do PDF templates so I'm not sure.

You can use the Zoom tool to keep your writing straight. See the attached image.
