Finalize notes or PDFs/protect from further modifications
Sorry, if I missed an existing feature request or if this feature is already available.
I love GoodNotes for digitally signing documents; for this, it would be great to have a feature like "Mark as final" for protecting documents or notes from further modifications.6 votes -
Add Background Image To Template
I create a colour-coded key that I add to the top righthand corner of every page in my notebook (coded for priority).
I manually add this to each new page. It would be great if I could add this to the template so it automatically appears on each new page.

Improve freehand cropping (Tetris like shapes)
I tend to paste images of text or diagrams onto my notes and I find myself using freehand cropping more often. I was wondering if there was a way to make my freehand lines straight? The best way I can describe it is I want my cropped images to look like a Tetris piece instead of a sloppy cropping. I can’t draw in a straight line and I would love for my freehand cropped images had clean lines.

Ability to upload to Google Classrom, etc instantly.
It always takes so long to press export, select Google Classroom, and wait for the terrible extension to load. It often makes my work turned in late. So I think it will be a great idea to add a feature to export directly or quicker to other apps.

Interactive square background
Make the square background interactive to work with geometric shapes and tools, improve geometric work on the app for geometric notes.
So you can create shapes and align them with the square background, with straight lines with no problems.1 vote -
I tend to prefer to take notes using the dark background with white ink but this makes it so that if for some reason i need to print my note
I tend to prefer to take notes using the dark background with white ink but this makes it so that if for some reason i need to print my notes, I need to go through by hand and change all the white text to black or some other color before i can export it as a pdf. Does there is any thing which might help in this process ? If not Can you introduce any feature like colour swap feature which is in OneNote or invert colour? In future updates...

Box cloud support in goodnotes 5, it was present in goodnotes 4
Please return the box cloud support in goodnotes 5. I put a lot of files on my box account and not want to switch to other cloud storage. It used to be available in goodnotes 4 for auto-backup. Thanks

Move Page further to the left or right for comfortable writing
When I write on pages without margins, the left edge of my page is flush with the left edge of my iPad screen (or locked in the centre). This makes it uncomfortable to write from the very edge of the screen for left handed users. Could you possibly make it so the user has more control over how far left/right the page sits to allow for hand resting room?

Document-Specific Color Sets
A third section of the color picker with document-specific themes and colors would be nice. I have lots of documents with different color schemes that are made confusing by the current color picker setup.

Bring back beginning/ending points for fountain pen
The new update (Version 5.4.22) made some tweaks to the beginning/ending points for the ink of fountain pen. It is now much less pressure-sensitive and comes out just like the ball pen. Please bring back the previous version as it writes more like fountain pen. Or at least give us more options for having pen tips or not.

Writing support like in drawing apps for better writing
Kinda like in procreate, clip studio or photoshop that the line drags a bit, but it helps make the lines more smooth and pretty.

Search PDF Form Fields
Search will find text on a PDF, but NOT in the form fields of that PDF - though the contents of the form fields is displayed. I work with a lot of fillable PDF's and this is a significant deficiency.

"Go Back" feature
Goodnotes 4 had a feature whereby one could "go back" to the last page one had viewed in the document. This feature is not available in Goodnotes 5. I request that this feature be added to Goodnotes 5.

Es wäre ganz fein wenn es ein Feld gäbe was man anklickt und es öffnet ein Unterschriftenfeld wo man geziehlt unterschreiben kann. Gegebenfalls mit zwei optionen, 1= Kundenunterschrift -> wird nicht gespeichert. 2= Unterschrift zum speichern...

Set default to “Import as New Document” for importing
I would like to be able to set the default option when importing to GoodNotes to be “Import as New Document” rather than “Import to Current Document” to help prevent, for example, accidentally inserting large documents to the middle of other large documents.

Colour coding file
Colour coding folders!! Maybe just a tab or something in the corner, but it’s so much easier to find a folder by colour than by skimming the names.

Ability to add page to outline while importing to current document
It would be great to be able to add the first page of a document to the outline while importing to the current document (example image and functionality attached)
