Formatting multiple fonts at a time
Being able to select multiple text boxes and change their font, size, or colour all at once.
= Streamline formatting and save time
Especially when working with longer documents or needing to make quick adjustments after a lecture.When sharing my notes with friends, they may not like my font, so if i could just multi select and change it in seconds, it would be so useful!
Please please add this feature!

Zoom the page canvas
I want Goodnotes to let me permanently zoom the page/canvas out to a much smaller percentage (like 20%) and keep it at that zoom level, like Noteful does. With the ability to zoom it back to 100%.

I and lots of my friends in Thailand use Goodnotes, it's an app that everybody that takes notes whether in school, work, or anywhere here will use or at least know what it is. If you could add Thai as a language in spellchecks, it will help us Thais a lot. Thank you for your consideration.

Increased Zoom Level for Pages
Hi Goodnotes Team,
I’m a medical student and have been using your wonderful app, including a paid subscription, for several years. Goodnotes has become one of my main study tools, and overall I’ve had a very positive experience with it.
However, my main issue has always been the limited maximum zoom level.

Scribble But Without Textbox
I want much more freedom when I write than a textbox! So I'm requesting a feature where you can manually turn it on or off and when you write with your Apple Pencil on your iPad in GoodNotes with any pen (like brush pen, ball pen, fountain pen), as you write in real-time, your text gets replaced with a font. So it's basically scribble as you write with your handwriting and it gets turned into a font but without the textbox limitation. Better combination of handwriting and typing
When taking notes using handwriting and typing with a keyboard case it’s often a struggle to change betweeen the tools.
When the writing tool is selected, I can’t type at all and have to long press on the page to select start typing / edit text. This is very annoying.
The writing mode isn’t very intuitive either. It would be nice to just start typing without clicking many buttons.2 votes -

I would REALLY APPRECIATE being able to "turn on" all the tape in my documents at once, or "turn off" all my tapes at once in a page or even the whole document. Not necessarily delete them just be able to toggel them on and off when i need to see my full notes again. Thanks!

Bug Report: Faulty PDF text data recognition blocks Text Box and Link tools
Dear Goodnotes Support Team,
I am writing to report a severe editing issue caused by the app's automatic PDF text recognition behavior, which currently frozen manual touch inputs on the document.
When opening a PDF, Goodnotes automatically recognizes the text data and forcefully clusters a wide area into an unwanted purple selection block—even though I did not long-press to select any text. Furthermore, this text boundary recognition is highly inaccurate, capturing oversized regions regardless of the actual text layout.
The critical issue is that within these faulty, automatically recognized text areas, all other manual touch inputs are completely disabled.

아니요. 저중에서 인식하는것은 페이지번호 60밖에 없었어요.
전체인식도 제대로 안되고 복사 붙여넣기도 안되는데 괜히 이상한 기능을 넣어서 쓰는게 넘 불편해졌어요.
넣고 싶은 곳에 텍스트 넣고 넣고 싶은 곳에 링크좀 넣게 수정좀 해주시면 안됩니까
기본 무료앱도 페이지 아무곳을누르면 텍스트 입력할수있고
링크를 원하는데 넣을 수있습니다.

auto sleep
Hi Goodnotes Team,
I am using the Goodnotes app on my Android tablet and Chromebook.
Currently, when a note is open, the app keeps the display turned on indefinitely and prevents the device from automatically sleeping, even when left untouched for a long time.
Could you please add an option in the app settings to allow the device's default screen timeout / auto-sleep function to work while viewing or editing notes? Having the screen stay on continuously consumes unnecessary battery when I step away from my device.

practical classroom use
其實有得俾學生寫答案, 方便老師批改, 呢個需要只限疫情期間, 而家無呢個需要, 10個老師經歷過電子批改, 11都會prefer改實體, 我睇介紹時, 只係勾起我的惡夢
以下的建議最實際啱用
建議1. 可以做「電子工作紙」, 老師可加text box 或 options選項, 學生揀答案/打字, 自動批改答案, 老師可選擇是否即時讓學生看到答案, 而老師可即時看到誰對誰錯, 且即時有答對率等數據
建議2. 可以做埋 "draw it" 的功能, 老師可在一個畫面便看到所有學生(或起碼同時看到9個, 再可碌落去睇埋) 某一part/某一題的答案
建議3: 為方便我請學生加入我的notebook, 我直接send QR code / link 俾佢哋加入, 好方便, 讚! 但當我打開該notebook後, 按student list, 唔係跟alphabetical order, 好難check邊個入咗邊個未入, 可否有按alphabetical oder 這個功能?

Table formatting issue when pasting from ChatGPT/Web

I am a long-time user of Goodnotes, and I recently upgraded to Goodnotes 6. I am writing to request a crucial improvement regarding text formatting and tables.
In Goodnotes 5, when I copied a table from ChatGPT or websites and pasted it into a text box, the table structure and grid format were preserved perfectly. However, in Goodnotes 6, this formatting is lost upon pasting; only the raw text appears or the table breaks entirely.

Add Size Control to Text Documents
Please add actual font-size controls to Text Documents. It’s ridiculous that in 2026 I can change text “styles” but I still can’t simply make normal body text larger.
I do not want to turn half my document into headings just to make the text readable. That is not a workaround — it’s bad design.
This is also an accessibility issue. People with eye strain, visual fatigue, or simply different reading preferences should be able to choose a comfortable font size. The regular Text Tool already supports font sizing, so there is no good reason for Text Documents to be this…

Organization of a Notebook
One of the key ways OneNote is useful is the organization of sub-tab structure so one class notebook can have multiple sections. I have to swipe right a million times to get to my notes for class number 9 in a syllabus.
