Zoom usage makes it almost unusable
Zoom minimum is 25%, I can't zoom out any further, despite still not being able to see the whole page. When I try, it snaps back to 25. I've tried the "add another bigger page" hack and I cannot make it work. Please change the zoom system so we can view an entire page at once.

Change Nav Color (or Hide)
I’d love to see the nav bar color changed to a more neutral, less distracting color.
You could probably consider this a purist request, but I’ve always found the navy blue navbar to be unappealing and distracting.
I’m not too interested in offering exact solutions, because I trust that good developers will make good decisions regarding UI and implementation.
But if I thought about it for a moment, potential solutions could be:
● Navbar colors that match the journal cover
● Simple user preference w/ preset colors and a custom color swatch option

Customisable squares, dotts and lines
please let us customise the square size and the distance between lines when creating a notebook.

Selection tool: toggle shape selection on or off
When using the selection tool, one can choose which type of objects should be selected or ignored with the toggles. This is not possible for shapes, either the ones drawn using the pen and snapping or the ones using the shape tool. Adding a toggle would make things a lot easier.

I would like to suggest incorporating AI technology into GoodNotes to enhance and beautify handwritten notes. This feature could improve handwriting in real-time, making it more legible and visually appealing, similar to what Apple Notes has introduced. This addition would greatly benefit users who prefer handwriting but desire a cleaner and more consistent appearance for their notes.

Improve Keyboard Text-Writing
It would be very helpful to have more possibilities to customize an format typed text. The current way of typing text does work but notes often look bulky and there is no good way to change it.
Something like Markdown, more bullet point levels, "fit text to lines"... would make hybrid hand-written and typed notes much easier.

Automatic Electrical/Electronics Engineering Symbol Correction
I’ve been enjoying Goodnotes for most of my classes, however I find when it comes to taking notes for my electric circuit analysis classes, my drawing ability on a tablet starts to lack. So I suggest including symbols for general ECE components into the shapes library OR have an option to create custom shapes (more applicable than just ECE) that could be added to the shapes library. I enjoy the shape-snap function because it’s quick, and I need that for those fast paced lectures.

If I click tape function, Then, the tape function of the item disappears and appears, so it's very convenient
But I think I'm going to disappear again at once again, so I think it's a little uncomfortable

Stabilize pen tool for the handwritten note-takers. It’s 2024…
It’s almost 2025 and GoodNotes has no feature to smooth and stabilize writing with the Apple Pencil. A lot of people prefer to hand write notes as using ‘scribble’ can be tedious at times, especially to those with poor handwriting which GoodNotes seems to ensure regardless of how well you write. Tape toggle to reveal/cover all tapes at once without removing
Can you change the "Remove all tape" button to a toggle, or make a separate toggle tool to temporarily remove/transparent all tape so when we are not using it, we have the option of reading our notes fully without having to delete all tape and reapply them when needed.
I love the tape feature and I believe it is very useful, but it would be time-consuming to click 'Remove all tape' and reapply them back, or manually tap on each individual tapes when you want to reveal everything when you're read all your notes and when you want to cover…

download problem
I recently received a Samsung Galaxy tablet from the workplace for use. I am an ipad user at home. I had no problem with downloading goodnote app when using ipad. However, downloading the Goodnote app from a Galaxy tablet took me a while. It required me to access my Samsung or Google email accounts to download the app. Since I don't have a Samsung account, it took me another few minutes to download the app through my Google account. Image to text - Extracting text from an image or pdf
To be able to upload an image/pdf and have AI generate a copy of the text within that image/pdf to be able to copy and paste it. I often find myself having to re-type something from an image or an app (that doesn’t allow me to copy) so having this feature would work wonders. Temporary pen
Just like the laser pen but stays on the page until I turn it off. This way, I can cover the notes with tape and work through my calculations with a temporary pen without messing up my notes.
