This is a crucial feature. I was using it in Smart Notebook for smartboard almost 20 years ago. Why isn't it available in goodnotes? It seems so basic. Love goodnotes otherwise!

Text boxes (that have to be placed and then annotated) often shift while using gestures; which cause annotations, such as highlighted text, to be in the wrong places. Not nly is it annoying but if it’s not caught straight away, can be problematic.

I ought to mention that having a text box deselected from the lasso tool does not always work. If I tap on the text box alone, I can still move it.

I just noticed this request is since 2014... Please good notes, other app (Nota...) already have this function!
It would be really usefull, easier to move written notes, drawings or even though charts... Please goodnotes 6!

This group elements/layers together feature is critical must have.

I really need this option to group text with images!!!

Especially images and handwriting notes must have the option to be grouped, otherwise it makes a mess when accidentally moving the image.

Would love the group feature to include being able to group the text you want on your sticky note that way it can still be editable and easier to move

This would be a significant improvement. I would use the feature to group branches of mindmaps to make it easier to manage and move things around as I add new branches.

Agree please add this so that it will be easier to move different elements and to rotate it.

We really need this feature. It's confusing that Good Notes doesn't have it.

This feature would make goodnotes a much better app! Same thoughts applies to text and highlight, and many other combinations - grouping would make the note much more versatile.

Grouping and locking items (objects or “layers”) are right up there with most important missing features.

I was really annoyed that this isn't a feature, I accidentally select objects I don't want to select and miss objects that I want to. Please add this.

An option to merge a group of text together, merge stickers with text, etc.

I would like to be able to group sections of text, eg it may just be titles, or parts of text from various parts of the page, so that I can edit (and re-edit) as a group, rather than having to select them individually every time I want to make changes.

To be able to group elements/objects to prevent accidental movement and to add charts/tables into GoodNotes please!!
