Will GoodNotes 5 for Mac be available in HK? It's so sad not to be able to sync my iPad with my Macbook. :(

Add option to highlighter: draw only horizontal lines
The highlighter already has the option to draw only straight lines, but would love the additional (!) option, when working in texts, to make it automatically put the straightend lines in a horizontal position.

Import own covers
It would be great if there was a way to import own created covers in the same way you could import self created papers
2 votesIt works exactly the same way as for paper templates. In the Notebook Templates button, tap on the preview for the covers to switch to the cover section and import your templates there.

Please bring back the macOS App... 😀
GoodNotes is a boombastic App, but when I‘m at home and do my office work I use my iMac Pro and it would be nearly perfect when all my Notes/Docs/PDFs and synced at every of my devices.
... and it would be great to import pictures directly „as an own site“

We need to be able to draw forms with the highlighter on GoodNotes 5 like it was possible with GoodNotes 4.

Edit documents side by side
I often am annotating pdfs. ppt etc. from another open medbook or rubric. It would be insanely convenient to be able to view the two documents side by side rather than flip back and forth. I understand concept of opening another app but that would be a view only. I may take screenshots from a text using goodnotes but I still have to flip back to the other document to add it to my the other notes. I guess it would be like apple's split view but working within the app.

Returning an option to turn off the blue rectangle in zooming mode
If it’s possible in the new version to bring back turning off blue rectangular in auto advance mode while zooming. Maybe it’s possible in the 5th version, but I still can’t find how

Provide option for a text box with formatting capabilities in Goodnotes 5 for Mac. Plus allow option for shape recognition (as on iOS app) which allows you to draw straight line, circle etc

disassociated pen styles for bascia pen and tool shapes
When I'm taking notes, I prefer fountain pan to write but ball pen to draw shapes. It would be great if the pen style of writing pen could be disassociated from shape tools.

Quick access to open notes
Quick access or view of open notebooks. Time consuming to walk a note back to the folder it was located to see already open Notesbooks. If you are deep in folder view and want to return to already open notebook, can there be a tab at top of screen to return to active notebooks in work view.

Multiple files import
When introducing files from Archives App we can no longer import multiple documents at the same time

Two instances and streamlined pencil
I would love the iPad is 13 two slides of the same app to come to GoodNotes. Also I would love a more streamlined pencil for even handwriting that is less wobbly

1 voteYou can export selected pages in the thumbnail view. Open the thumbnail view (grid icon in navigation bar of an open doc) > tap select icon > tap on pages > tap “export”

Hold to straight Line (like Notability!), maybe with automated Arrows
Like it works in Notability, i prefer it alot over the "shape tool" in Good Notes 4, for stuff like Underlining , Arrows etc.
Holding a line to make it straight allows me to keep writing, without "stopping" to activate/deactivate a "Mode" everytime, it feels MUCH more fluid/consistent.Also, the Ability of those straightened Lines to be Attacked (Beginning AND End) to other Start/End points of Lines, and even in the middle of Lines, and also to the Lines of the Paper background.
For math stuff, it makes it easy to create perfect diagrams bound to the Checkered Paper backgrouns.

Highlighter and shape tool usage in GN 5??
I wish we were able to use the highlighter at the same time as the shape tool in GN 5 was we did in GN 4. If I wanted to highlight a circle in GN 5 I couldn't use the shape tool to fix my circle in GN 5. Just a suggestion.

Good notes 5 for Mac
This is more of a question. I signed on to the beta for Good Notes 5 for Mac. Unfortunately it is not supported on Mac OS 10.x (my mac can’t upgrade to newer editions). Are there plans to have the standard version of Good Notes 5 run on older OS versions? I hope so, I liked GooodNotes 4 and loving GoodNotes5

Highlighter
Please allow highlighter pdf option, which highlits the text itself without “leftovers”, like there may be found on pdf editing apps, not only marker option, as there is today.
