   Hi GoodNotes team,

I’m using GoodNotes for Windows (version …).

The laser pen becomes blurry only in Whiteboard mode, while it works fine on normal pages.

My GPU: AMD Radeon R2 540

   OS: Windows 10/11

Please check if this is related to hardware acceleration or GPU rendering.

4. Customizations for the app

Can we please have more customizations for folders, pens/pencil, templates, etc?! It may or may not make goodnotes even more enjoyable for users.

I would like to see more updates for more settings of pens and pencil, especially for our handwriting. It can make our handwriting much more better.

5. Give us multiple application instances back!

In previous version I could open more than one window, so I could read my notes in one windows and edit another note in another window at the same time.
Now my main workflow is broken.

7. Read only mode is hidden in settings

The readonly mode can be moved to taskbar for ease of use. I was unable to find it after the update, then saw it was under settings

12. Windows/Android : Extend the export function

On Windows/Android at this moment you can export your document only as "PDF".
Please extend the export function with the file types ".goodnotes" and ".png" like on IOS.

13. Request for Timer Feature for Laser Pen in Goodnotes

I have a feature suggestion that I believe would be really helpful for users like myself. It would be great if you could add a timer option for the laser pen tool that allows us to adjust the disappearance time of markings. Currently, once the laser pen is used, the marks disappear too quickly, and it would be beneficial to have more control over how long the marks stay visible.

Having the ability to set a specific timer for how long the markings stay on the screen would help users better plan and communicate, especially during presentations or while explaining concepts on the notes.

I think this feature would enhance the experience for many Goodnotes users, and I would love to see it implemented!

Thanks for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

15. Pen colors drop down arrow

have our 4 favorite pen colors then next to it have a drop-down arrow (just like the arrow for hidden tools) with the rest of our color palettes. That way we won’t have to constantly scroll back and forth to change our stroke settings and so we won’t have limited colors options / only 12 of our favorite pen colors

17. Is goodnotes for Android or windows actually that bad?

I‘m considering getting and android or windows tablet with a bigger screen then an iPad. However i have not yet found a note taking app for those OS that i actually enjoy using like Goodnotes.

I read that Goodnotes for windows or android is just using a web version and doesn’t work without internet connection X Trench Run? In addition both versions seem very buggy and constantly crash.

Is that still the case and are there any plans to change that?

What is you general experience using Goodnotes on windows?

18. Is the Android version of the app fully developed now?

    Hello,

I have a Samsung Tab S6 Lite 2022 and I'm currently using Samsung Notes for my school notes, but I miss a reliable way to measure and draw lines of specific angles and lengths, as well as a tool to draw circkes of a specific radius. I've seen some other students use GoodNotes on iPads and they seem to have a ruler (I'm not sure for the "circle with radius" thing but I think they also have that).

Also, Samsung Notes does really bad at supporting portrait orientation, which I saw from the iPad users should be usable even on a per-page basis in GodNotes.

Does anyone here have experience if the Android version is missing any features of the iPad version and if yes, which?

I also need to be able to use the button on my S Pen (non-pro version,no battery) to erase things.
