Zoom tool and other considerations
I would like to have the zoom tool that creates a square that zoom in and allows you to write in this zoomed section (like the one that exist in the iOS app).
Agreed When I press ctrl + scroll in/out, I want to gradually zoom in/out. Now, it's from 34 -> 149 -> 665.

I won't purchase Goodnotes for windows unless it has the Zoom Window to use when inking. That's the only thing that sets Goodnotes apart from other similar apps.

I keep using Goodnotes in my -still working- 2011 iPad2. This is by far the best app to take notes. When I heard about the android beta version I immediately joined as a beta tester. However, the lack of the zoom tool in every new version until the first non beta one available few days ago is a bit disappointing. The zoom tool is definitely the best way to properly use your pad as a real notebook, with a detailed writing area and a comfortable inactive region to place your hand.
Without this feature, the current android version is still light years behind my iPad2 iOS version that is more than ten years older.
Please, consider to introduce the zoom tool in the android version.
Thank you very much for still improving this number one notebook app.

As "Anonymous" noted on February 2, 2023, yes, this is one of the things that set GoodNotes apart from other apps. It was really great. I'd love to have that in this version like the iOS version.

A marquee zoom tool and a little box on the left page thumbnails where it shows you where on the page you're at like how pdf shows the location on the page.
I use Goodnotes on iPad to take notes during meetings and presentations. Scrolling Zoom window is what sets Goodnotes apart from the dozens of other apps. Need to be able to pull up docs on both Ipad and Surface tablet. Going back to Metamojii

I will be serious about this but I think zoom is painful to use. But there is a solution, try using the shortcut standard zoom using only the ctrl and mouse wheel, the user's zoom should change from a 25% ratio. Like 100% to 75% or 125%. Also add another shortcut using the mouse wheel + ctrl + spacebar, the free zooming ratio by 1%. A correct example of this, should be Adobe Photoshop.
Unlike any other languages, minority of them are written from RIGHT TO LEFT and not left to right like English, French, Korean etc.
Because of that I CAN’T use the advance feature of the zoom tool because I write the other way arround.

This was one of my main reasons for wanting GoodNotes. I'd love to see it in a later version.
