  1. Features Request For Goodnotes Beta for Android&Windows

    First of all, we cannot edit when we are not connected to the internet. This is really bad. We should be able to use the application while offline.
    Also, the writing experience with the stylus pen in the android version is not smooth.

    1. You should make a trash bin.
    2. In order to use pen options more effectively, you should make a floating favorite bar and you should not set a number limit on this feature and we should be able to position this bar horizontally or vertically.
    3. There is a 100 mb file size limit when importing notes. This is…

    Have more color variety within pen options. Just as on the iOS, you have more than 3 options to choose on the selected colors.

  4. Pen and rubber problems; page lag; app freezing

    -I have a dual pen (i.e. I can write on one side and erase with the other) but the app is having trouble of switching back in time. When I erase and go to back to writing, it ends up erasing
    -Page lag; takes time for page to load with writing
    -App freezes sometimes (I don't know if this is just me or due to too many notebooks used but after deleting some notebooks I have noticed less freezing)

  5. Customising paper templates

    1) Changing spacing between the lines/grids/dots.
    2) Having a colour wheel to choose paper background colour
    3) Changing line/grid/dot thickness

    Eg. I think this would be very useful for those who can see better with certain colour paper, or for personal preferences.

  6. The ability to split the screen.

    In Samsung Notes, we are able to split the screen - be it vertically or horizontally - and at various sizes, so that we can look at a pdf or other notes while also working on homework or other coursework. Only Nebo that I know of is also able to do this, but not GoodNotes yet. Or if it can't be done with the Samsung or Chrome options to do so, if this could be done via inside the Goodnotes app - via tabs, that could be beneficial.

  7. Surface Pen Compatibility

    Please make it so I can use the pen and use my finger without having to turn off the pen function each time. It ruins my work flow.

  8. iCloud account on Windows app

    I am currently using goodnotes on iPad, iPhone and MacBook. Since I am using the app with an icloud account, it would be much more convenient if I could use my iCloud account on the windows app as well.

    You could use the Goodnotes cloud to access the notes from all platforms.

  9. Problem while saving highlighted document.

    After finished highlighting a pdf, and saving it, the saved document has the highlight in front of the text, instead of behind it as it was while editing the pdf. Hope I was clear, and the problem is an easy fix!

  10. when will Goodnotes be the same application as goodnotes 6 ?

    when will Goodnotes be the same application as goodnotes 6 which is really great ?
    I'll pay for Goodnotes 6 in Android not for this light current version.
    Goodnotes 6 is the complete app that I expect.
    It will be awesome and I'm waiting for update.

  13. Slow app

    App really slows down after 2 pages of hand writing. Letters start appearing slowly, hand writing pops up instead of being smooth. And I doubt it's my tablet that is slow.

    1) being able to add typed text, like you can on the iPad.

  16. Ability to Import Pictures/PDF in a Notebook

    This can also be done from camera roll. As a student there's a lot of documents online so instead of importing the document into another note after another we should be able to import the documents in one notebook.
    As well as we should have the laser point feature that adapts with Samsung Pen. Why? Because it's really cool and easy to teach others with.

  18. Issue with Imported Planner

    Since the BETA version of GoodNotes on Windows update, I immediately imported my digital planner because I've been dying to use it. I imported the 2023 Digital Cute Planner - Black Edition - from the World of Printables, and it imported all the pages with no issues. However, it didn't keep any of the formatting for the tabs, where if you click a tab it took you to the corresponding pages. I think it would be beneficial since I know this planner works on iOS, as my friend uses the same planner. It does make it harder to use the…

  19. Android version so far

    I'm glad that it's coming to other platforms, the features are lacking in the beta but i hope it'll be like the ios version I'm full release. So far I'm using it on galaxy tab s8, the pen hover feature works for the ui but writing has lots of latency and i would love to see air action support so i can map tools to it like in samsung notes, noteshelf, clip studio paint, krita etc.

    Actually you offer an annual subscription or it would be fine if you offer one time payment too like ios version.
