Hi goodnotes team
The issue I'm encountering is related to the synchronization speed between my Mac and iPad devices. While I understand that iCloud synchronization is meant to ensure seamless file updates across devices, I have noticed that the synchronization process can sometimes take longer than desired. This delay becomes particularly problematic when I need to edit a file on my iPad and then continue working on the same file using my Mac. The potential for conflicts arising due to the asynchronous synchronization can lead to data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
To address this concern, I would like to propose a feature enhancement. Could you consider implementing a manual synchronization option within the GoodNotes app? Similar to the approach used in the Anki app, having a dedicated "Sync" button that users can press when they've finished their work on a device would provide a higher level of control over synchronization. This would allow users to ensure that all changes have been accurately updated across all devices before moving on to another device. This manual sync option would complement the existing automatic iCloud synchronization and offer users the flexibility to manage synchronization in a way that best suits their workflow.
