There is a work around for this.
You need to start by creating a study set (final destination) at the documents level (not inside folders).
Go to your study set where you have already made your flashcards-top left corner four squares button- select the one you want to move and then click on move button- select the study set you made previously in the documents pane and voila you have yourself a merged study set.
You can move this study set later on to the location of your liking.
