For anyone who mainly uses handwriting but wants to link notes or websites etc the ability to select any handwriting (indeed, any object) would be immensely useful. At present, if I needed to hyperlink something I can only do that with text, which looks messy within a handwritten page.

A definite from me too. The new whiteboard has a zoom feature with some set levels. I think implementing a user-zoom level (maybe three, like the pen sizes) would allow consistency in handwriting. I know there's the Zoom already but it's too basic and has little customisation.

Yes, this is the other half of creating a link between GN pages. Simply creating a link is helpful but with no easy way to return to the original page it's not as useful.

In 2025 this is still a much desirable request and one that just seems like we shouldn’t have to even ask for it.
Often, a website link will be long and unsightly, so, to be able to change the display text to something more use would be great.
It seems that, at the moment, you need to copy the link from the website, select some of your text you’d like it linked to and set up the link there.
If you simply copy the website address and paste it into GN then you get the long, messy original link but no way to change that afterwards.

Got my vote!
Whiles the text hyperlink implementation is great I would find it extremely helpful to extend its use to other objects, including handwriting.
Most of my notes are hand written and I often need to link to either internal notes in the same notebook or another Goodnotes notebook or websites but I don’t like to spoil my notes with a clumsy text box to do that.
In fact, allowing any object (including images and objects) to have a hyperlink would be amazing.

Five years on and still no implementation of this time saving idea.
Having the app remember the tool settings for each notebook or each page would be a real time saver. I’m always swapping between multiple notebooks and each book has its own pen settings. Having to manually change the pen attributes each time is not efficient.

This would be a great feature. The ability to scribble notes or text around the page margins so that they are there to use / reference but without being printable, would be a major advancement in GN note taking.
