Notebooks that remember pen settings

I usually keep two notebooks open on my iPad in tabs. I write in thin black on one notebook, and the other notebook I write on an index card template in a thick marker like pen setting. Moving between tabs, it would be nice if a notebook would remember the last pen setting used inside it. I need to switch back and forth quickly, and having to change pen type, color and thickness every single time gets old fast. Thanks for your great product!

    Five years on and still no implementation of this time saving idea.

    Having the app remember the tool settings for each notebook or each page would be a real time saver. I’m always swapping between multiple notebooks and each book has its own pen settings. Having to manually change the pen attributes each time is not efficient.

    Please return this important feature that was able in GoodNotes 4 and allowed writing in multiple tabs easily and fast. Thank you!

    Pen settings should be saved per notebook, so we don’t have to go back and forth to change every time

    Yes please put this simple feature somewhere in the settings or turn it on by default if you want. It is very necessary . You know how many notes people have in average? well I have a bunch and they are as different as they get . I know you can implement this in 1 hour of coding if you wanted. Thanks for keeping it awesome

    I hope they do this!! I have to write somewhere in the notebook what pen settings I used for that notebook (like what colours, brush size, etc). I switch to different notebooks very frequently and I want the pen settings the be saved so bad to save time.

    I love to have each notebook a different theme and it would be cool if you could assign certain colors, pens, sizes ect... to a note book instead of switching back and forth
