    Yes this is critical. The walk around is to convert to handwritten math and then edit the equations. This walkaround is a bit problematic sometimes.
    I found that using this method or duplicating a converted math equation and editing it can cause the app to freeze or act weird. I hope Goodnotes allow you to interact with LaTex directly soon.
