    Goodnotes needs a genuinely complete dark and focus experience on iPad:

    1. True page and PDF dark mode: Add reversible, view-only night rendering that darkens white notebook pages and imported PDFs while automatically adapting ink, text, links and highlights. Printing and exports should retain the original colors.

    2. A genuinely dark interface: The current saturated blue toolbar is still bright and distracting in Dark Mode. Please offer neutral graphite, OLED-black and dark-gray themes, plus customizable interface and accent colors.

    3. An immersive canvas: Let users independently hide, collapse or auto-retract the top Files tab bar and toolbar. They permanently occupy valuable canvas space and prevent a focused writing or reading experience.

    These are fundamental usability, eye-comfort and accessibility issues—not minor cosmetic requests. Resolving them would substantially improve satisfaction for students and professionals who use Goodnotes for hours at a time. Please record all three issues and share whether they are on the roadmap.     The top Files/document tab bar and toolbar should be independently hideable, collapsible or automatically retractable. They permanently occupy and block valuable iPad canvas space, with no genuine immersive option for focused handwriting, reading or PDF annotation. Please add a real Fullscreen or Focus Mode, with a simple gesture, shortcut or edge tap that temporarily reveals the controls. This is a fundamental productivity and usability feature, not a cosmetic extra; resolving it would materially improve concentration, usable writing space and satisfaction.

    Dark Mode should make the entire application genuinely dark. The current saturated blue toolbar remains visually bright and distracting in low light, so the interface still feels only partially themed. Please provide neutral OLED-black, graphite and dark-gray options, and ideally let users customize the full interface theme and accent colors instead of forcing the conventional blue. This is more than cosmetic for students and professionals who use Goodnotes for hours at night: a coherent, low-glare interface materially improves eye comfort, concentration and satisfaction.
