We’re sorry to hear about the negative experiences you have with GoodNotes 5 and are thankful that you took the time to write such lengthy and detailed feedback.
We’re optimizing the ink algorithm continuously and haven’t heard many complaints about the smoothness in recent times so we’d like to take a closer look at your case. Would you be able to share a comparison video of how it looks like when you write in GoodNotes 4 vs GoodNotes 5 to support@goodnotes.com? That will be very helpful for us. Please refer to this review, so that we know it is you.angelica.abreu10 supported this idea · -

In GoodNotes 5 we implemented the option to create infinite subfolders to replace the concept of “categories” in GoodNotes 4. Consider using multiple documents in a subfolders instead of adding everything to one notebook. If you want to further divide your notebook internally, you can use bookmarks or custom outlines to label your pages.
