That would be an amazing feature

A nice way to implement that for goodnotes developers would be to create a "several palettes" feature, that you can assign manually to paper styles ( dark, white, yellow ... ). whenever switching paper theme you could just map the first color in the palette of the other style to the first color in the palette of the new theme. That way you could both :

- have custom palettes for each paper style
- be able to seemlessly switch paper style

which is useful for printing when you like dark mode

- adds flexibility to the overall experience without being confusing

[ note : in the edge case of not matching palette sizes, just use the first color of the palette for the other colors ( but you have to keep the information of the color index so that no information is lost when reswitching palettes ) ]

This feature is very important to me. Please add this feature to GoodNotes 5!

There must be some way to invert not just for dark paper but also for the bright ink colors used. Please!

this is an easy feature to add. This is the main reason, I still use OneNote.

This feature is desperately needed. Although I love the dark paper because it's easier on my eyes, I would also like to be able to print some of my documents without totally wasting my black ink. It's been two years since the original comment. PLEASE make it happen!

marginnotes 3 has this feature. documents are easier on the eyes. goodnotes needs to start innovating in their next iteration.

Agree. GN5 doesn't work well with dark mode especially for users who have both white and dark paper documents. Pen colors are "wrong" once switched to dark mode. PLEASE implement auto switching like iOS Notes!

We need an option to somewhat invert dark papers with bright colors into white papers with a dark color but in a more controlled way so we can read on a dark mode and print it on a typical paper.

it would be perfect if just the background of the black page would be inverted to a white background with whatever pattern is on the black page and the white writing converted to black
Every other color should just stay the same
