GoodNotes documents should be visible in the iOS 11 Files app like other apps. Also, try using alight motion watermark remover for editing videos seamlessly!

I would love to store the notebooks in my existing OneDrive File System. It already brings good management features, easy import and export, compatibility with other tools (I may open the pdf on my PC as well), rights management, sharing and so on. It is easier for me storing all information to one topic (e.g. pictures, sound files, CAD Files) in one folder. I open the picture files with a picture app, the sound files with a sound app and the note files should be opened with Goodnotes.
Other users may prefer other shared drives, but there are a lot existing and they are all compatible with each other and included in iOS Files App.As the File Management apps will also improve it is the future proof solution to grant compatibility rather than trying to copy them.
There are a lot of requests with similar goals:

Accepting shared documents currently requires an iPhone/iPad, with the link can access the document in their GoodNotes app to edit.

This idea is excellent. It's the main drawback of Goodnotes. The internal filing system is lacking in features such as colouring folders, etc, but also to not be able to drag and drop into a normal folder and have it appear in GoodNotes is a major drawback. C'mon! We're all in the cloud now, all about interoperability, get with it!

File management is a major headache (and shortcoming) in GoodNotes. This would be a very useful feature.

this would be great, and also maybe a way to sort notebooks into a file structure in the goodnotes app?

I’m using DevonThink as Files management. By the way it is an awesome app. Would be fantastic to choose a specific folder where GoodNotes put his files. This way you solve two problems :
1. Folder in Files app
2. Sync with WebDAV, because DEVONThink is able to sync with WebDAV including encryption which makes it very secure. Many thanks for your help !

Yes, very much needed. Creates double handling not to be able to send a PDF straight to GoodNotes.

Yes, please! I convert all docs to PDF and import to Goodnotes, so it's my main file system.

Yes it would be great to have a more familiar, visual or nested list view on GoodNotes files. The inte4nal file system is a bit clunky. Also, managing PDFs inside and outside the app would be much smoother.

This function is so important.....as for now, if I want to devise a files into 2 parts, I can only export to another app(notability, which has new File feature), then transfer back to good note...this is just complicated......
