1. "Last Viewed Page" Button

   Please make a button on the main tool bar, that will call up my last viewed page, similar to the "Return" button on a TV remote control.

   For example, if I am using this app to do homework at page 134 and I want to check for my answer at 658. I can switch the two pages by using the bookmark, which is tedious. Or I can click a button and it will allow me to switch back and forth between the 134 and 658 after I had already switched back and forth once previously.

   I am thinking it would function something like this...

   1. Save both page 134 and page 658 into the bookmarks.
   2. Get on page 134 using bookmark.
   3. Get on page 658 using bookmark.
   4. Press the "Last Viewed Page" button while on page 658.
   5. The page would switch back to page 134.
   6. Press the "Last Viewed Page" button again while on page 134.
   7. The page would switch back to page 658.
   8. And repeat.

   I am in love with your app after the most recent patch, adding this button on here would practically make me want to marry it!

2. (Asynchronous & Offline) Handwriting Recognition

   There are several note-taking Apps which provide handwriting recognition. Most of them (actually the ones that I have tested or looked into) provide this kind of recognition with at least one of these two options:
   - they try to recognize handwriting on-the-fly (synchronous) which results in the user having to permanently correct mis-recognized parts of her/his text thus slowing down in writing (useless for taking notes in meetings)
   - they try to recognize handwriting by using web services thus requiring online connection and transfering possible sensitive informations off the users tablet. (useless in situations where no wifi or mobile connections are available and when sensitive informations should be written down)

   Therefor GoodNotes should not only provide handwriting recognition, but also provide it in an offline and asynchronous way. Think about the scenario when taking notes in a meeting quickly and wanting to convert the handwriting at a later point in time to text before exporting it into a searchable PDF. To accomplish this the lasso feature (currently used for selecting an arbitrary part of the note) could be enhanced to have an option like "convert selection to text".

3. Add Keyboard Shortcuts

   Many note takers using iPad has a bluetooth keyboard. It would be very nice to add short cuts on the keyboard to make things more convenient. For example, cmd+T for inserting text box, or cmd+B for adding a page below, etc.

4. Have an option to disable the blue rectangle feature (when zoomed in)

   I find this more irritating than convenient, often times I write on the right side of the screen, but the blue box blocks the earlier part of what I was writing, so if I ever need to edit something I need to close the box.

6. Color change with lasso tool

   I like to organize school notes with colors...one color for titles, another for notes, another for examples. Sometimes I realize the whole last page was a specific example instead of general notes, and I want to change the color of half a page without rewriting it. Lasso to change colors, please.

9. Ability to start a blank page straight away

   iOS 11 allows one to tap a locks screen and start writing notes

   I suggest,
   The ability to hard press or when clicking the icon to open the app to a blank page straight away so you can immediately start writing

   This can be set up as an option in the settings.
   The settings would allow you to choose default paper &/or cover which would later be saved when you finished writing. This way you don’t waste time opening the app starting a new doc, choosing the paper, cover, naming the book etc etc.

   GoodNotes 5 supports a new “QuickNote” feature. You can double tap the add button in the library to start a new blank note right away. Our new app supports Siri Shortcuts, which allows you to create a shortcut for a new QuickNote in the Shortcuts app. This way, you can add a button to your iPad homescreen or to the widget center that will create a new QuickNote in GoodNotes right away without having to access the app. The option to create a note from the lockscreen is restricted and not publicly available to third-party app developers unfortunately.

10. Please allow the ability to edit the text in the Convert Text window.

    This would allow you to fix incorrectly converted text before pasting it elsewhere.

    GoodNotes 5 allows you to convert the text in the preview. Just tap on it to edit it.

11. Allow us to view multiple pages of a notebook at the same time on the screen

    Let us view multiple pages of the notebook at the same time on the screen. When in landscape mode on my iPad, it would be great to be able to view 2 pages of the notebook side by side.

12. Please fix Google Authentication

    Students can no longer log into google drive through the app since google disallowed in app browsers to authenticate, link to google developer blog post about it below. Will you be updating the app to allow authentication again?

13. Support Thai language "Convert to Text", please.

    Thai language is very much needed so please consider adding Thai language in "Convert to Text" and I'll wholeheartedly recommend GoodNotes to everyone I know. :)

    After updating to version 4.11.11, which is available as an update on the App Store, you should be able to quickly sync all your changes and notebooks across all of your devices again.

    We want to take the chance to say sorry again to everyone that was affected by the problems. Thank you so much for staying with us during these hard times!
    In case you should experience any trouble with iCloud after updating to the latest version, please contact our support.

16. select color AND thickness of pen - without the menu closing after first selection

    In the "presets" tab of the pen selection menu, the menu closes after i select a color and i have to open ist again to change the pen thickness as well.
    On the "custom" tab on the other hand, i can select a color AND adjust the thickness. The menu is closed by tabbing somewhere outside the menu or on the pen icon. Please let the "preset" tab work in the same way.

    thanks for the suggestion. You can already move the toolbar to the bottom of the page, specifically due to this writing posture, by opening Options>Settings>Document Editing>Toolbar Position
