1. Notebooks management window in Mac

   EDITED: Keeping this on here, just in case anyone else has the issue...I figured it out :)

   On my iPad, I can single finger scroll left/right and go through all of the cover/page options. I just realized that I can two finger scroll on my Air, mimicking the action from the iPad. Sorry about that!

   Not sure if this is an idea or just a question but I am to finding a solution. I use a MacBook Air (2020 on Sonoma) and iPad 9 (on OS 17.4.1). These are my life connections and I have all things syncing with iCloud and working great...with a hiccup. When I work in GN6 on my Air, I can't see all of the notebooks as the window is too small and won't expand. This appears on both the default notebook covers/pages as well as those I've created. Any solutions to this or is there a way that I can scroll through the list if the window size won't permit full view?

3. Change Email / Gmail

   It would be great if you could change the gmail your account is linked to, so that you could have access to them in another drive. When I first made an account it was with my everyday email, now I have a separate one for business and school. Would be awesome if I could change it even if it was only allowed one time.

4. HIGHLIGHT SEARCH RESULTS

   I would like to be able to Search my document for a word.
   Then I would like to be able to click a button and have ALL these instances be HIGHLIGHTED with the HIGHLIGHT tool with one click.

   Is is possible?
   Perhaps I've missed something.

5. Copy text from screenshot/Image

   New user, using Goodnotes for my Japanese studies, and I would benefit from being able to copy as text from images/PDFs I’ve inserted into notebooks, alternatively being able to select and manipulate text in an image the same way I can in Photos/Notes and other Apple Apps on iPadOS.

6. Virtual Fold to keep a column of text visible while writing

   I use GoodNotes to complete two pages of tasks I have to grade during instruction. It would be great to have a virtual fold function so the labels were next to the grade column I'm working on.

7. Cross-platform Sync

   We need a kind of way to sync it cross-platform without needing to use iCloud... I'd love to have my files on my PC and access on my Ipad or phone without having to ALWAYS export it. I don't use iCloud... and I can't even share it using a local sharing or a sharing using any other cloud service as the base for it.

8. A way to use GoodNotes as a citation manegement for academic research etc

   In academia we usually have to read a lot and with that comes a necessity to organize and keep track of citations, I know that there are aps for that but I like the idea of using goodnotes highlight when reading, as it keeps the document clearer

9. Storage Improvements

   It would be nice to be able to store files (notebooks yes, but also elements!) either in iCloud, some other cloud, or in a GoodNotes cloud system, and have them accessible and editable on device.

   I have very limited space on my iPad, but i have several notebooks, and I have TONS of stickers that I would love to add to my elements. The problem is that I do not have the space for it on my iPad at all... However I do have space in cloud storage. Now I have to use iCloud and add png files to Goodnotes everytime I want to use a sticker, but it would be much better if they were accessible directly through the app. If it were possible to store elements and notebooks and other things off the device that would be amazing! Maybe even letting me decide what would be stored on the device and what would be stored in cloud.

11. Direct Document Access: Edit and Sync PDFs in GoodNotes from iCloud and Local Folders

    Situation:
    As a frequent user of GoodNotes, my primary activity involves editing PDF files. I import numerous documents into the app to annotate and review them using my Apple Pencil. These edits include highlighting key information and jotting down spontaneous thoughts. Once edited, I export these PDFs to store them in my personal file system, including iCloud, for access through various other tools like Obsidian or Adobe Acrobat Pro.

    Improvement:
    I propose an enhancement where GoodNotes can directly link to specific folders on iCloud or local storage on a MacBook. Instead of importing PDFs into GoodNotes' internal storage, this feature would allow GoodNotes to display and edit PDFs directly from their original locations. Any changes made within GoodNotes would automatically update the original PDF files in their respective folders.

    Benefits:
    This integration would streamline the workflow significantly by:
    • Reducing Redundancy: Eliminate the need for multiple imports and exports of the same file, saving time and storage space.
    • Enhancing Productivity: Allow for a more fluid transition between GoodNotes and other applications, facilitating a more integrated digital workspace.

    I don't like my handwriting becoming affected / "covered" by the color of highlighter (like notability). I wish there was an option we could choose.

16. Resize tool DOESN’T anchor from the centre

    When using the resize tool to resize images, stickers, text, handwriting etc… the resize tool anchors from the centre so when you pull it down at the bottom it will also shoot up at the top. This makes it hard to get it to the exact size you want as you can’t predict exactly half of how much bigger you want it if that makes sense. Basically just have options on all four sides to pull out or push in the image etc…

19. Study set--scanning documents and changing image proportions

    In the current version, when importing images into Study Sets, the photos taken are directly reflected on the cards, and the image ratio is fixed at 1:1.
    In order to create cards that are effective for study, we need to be able to beautifully turn a photo taken into a card and also be able to import images in the ratio of our choice (sometimes even the answers to questions are imported onto the surface!) .
    Therefore, (1) the captured image should be corrected as if it were a scanned document, and (2) the user should be able to freely choose a ratio of the captured image other than 1:1.

20. Line should be separated as a different line after we cut a line.

    Line should be separated as a different line after we cut a line.
    After we erased the center of line, it looks like a different line. But it move sync when we select and move a line. It's very troublesome when I want to edit a simple picture, because I have to delate all of the connected line only when I want edit part of the line.
