Add alias to the file system
I have a lot of files in Goodnotes. Sometimes I want to access them in two folders but don't want to have two separate files. Therefore, please add alias to the file system.

put tabs into groups
Imagine you are taking different classes and have multiple tabs open for each class. It would be better if we are able to navigate to the tabs for a specific subject.

Sotto indici
Sarebbe utile oltre a poter creare un indice poter creare anche un sotto indice per ogni indice. In questo modo sarebbe possibile creare nel proprio quaderno una categoria con sotto categorie.

Presentation mode through wifi (indicated URL in web browser)
Presentation mode through wifi (indicated URL in web browser).
The presentation mode is available through Apple TV and an HDMI cable. It would be great to present the screen of Goodnotes wirelessly to an external screen, such as a digital whiteboard.
The app "Airsketch PRO" has this feature by typing an indicated URL in the webbrowser of the external screen. Bringing this feature to Goodnotes makes presenting much more flexible. No need for an Apple TV and without a cable you can walk further away from the external screen.

Add space anywhere in the note
I frequently think of things I want to add to a long note later. The options at present are: 1) try to cram an extra bit of writing above previous notes (like using a physical notebook); or 2) select everything you want to move with the lasso tool and move it downwards (difficult with a long note, and a bit of a hassle too)
If you could somehow pinch to add more space that would be quick and awesome, You could have as many extra thoughts as you like, and it wouldn't be a hassle to add them in.

Page sizes for importing PDFs to optimize screen usage
I create custom documents in Excel/Word and print them to PDF, then import to GN and I want to use all the screen area. Allow either editing the PDF in GN to reduce margins, or provide documentation on what "paper" sizes will optimize screen usage for each platforms (i.e., iPad mini, iPad Pro, iPhone, etc.)

Option to turn Action Items into Reminders or a To-Do list
After a day of meetings, I find myself not remembering to go back to the "action items" (or forgetting the action items.) Would be so powerful if action items were automatically added to iOS reminders, or even if there was a quick manual way (i.e., circle the actions with lasso and have option to create/add to remdiners.)

建议增加大纲层级功能
希望能在大纲页面增加自定义大纲层级,否则所有的目录都平摊出来,看起来结构性不强,也不方便翻阅。

Automatic "Action Items"
I have many notebooks (one for each customer). I want the ability to mark written text as an "Action Item" in any notebook (Use the "lariat" tool?) and they automatically get added to an "Action Items" notebook so they are all in one place.

Delete page without having to back out to thumbnails view
As a user, I’d like to be able to delete a page I’m on without having to back out to the thumbnails view.
While “clear page” is useful, “delete page” would remove the annoyance of having to back out as I’m deciding page by page which to keep.
An alternative would be allowing zoom in the thumbnails view so I can better see what’s on the page.

Add a set number of pages when creating a new notebook
When we create a new notebook we should be able to choose the number of pages we want added for the paper template we selected. For example, I want fifty pages of the blank paper template automatically added to my new notebook.
That way we don’t have to manually add page after page or keep pulling on the current page and release to add another page.
This feature would be the equivalent of buying a physical notebook from the store with a set number of pages.7 votes -
More Shortcuts
There should be shortcuts for
- document search
- search all files
- delete page
- mark/unmark page
- close current file
- switch between edit and view mode
- cmd + z / cmd + shift + z for undo and redoI think there can not be to many shortcuts, as they are invisible to everyone not using them. Add your ideas...

export pdf without the handwriting notes
It would be helpful, if there would be a checkbox to switch the export of the handwriting notes on or off.
I often create a presentation in GN. To publish only the slides with the pictures, text boxes etc. but without my handwriting speaknotes, this option would be very nice. Until now, I have to create two documents. One with the handwriting notes and one without my marks.14 votesDid we understand it correctly, that the option to “exclude” annotation in the export option won’t be suitable for you because you want the exported document to include text boxes and/or images but no handwriting?

Erase by specific pen color
I am using GoodNotes and drawing a table with multiple rows and columns to practice for a test. The last row’s change with each exercise. I use a unique pen color for those. It would be great if I could erase by pen color so I can erase the values with a quick swipe and not have to fix the cell borders each time or be more precise with each cell. Thanks!

Scrolling vertically and horizontally
It would be ingenious if you could generally scroll vertically in a document, but horizontally in parts (for example with an inserted PDF file), so that the PDF appears as a unit.
This would make the overview much easier and would be a unique selling point.5 votesWe considered that but found that it introduces a lot of complexity and is hard to understand for most users. You can quickly change the scrolling direction in the … menu in an open document.
