  1. More text templates

    I frequently use different fonts for titles, the body of my text, subtitles, and also, depending on the notebook I am using. Could you create a feature that let us save more than one default text so that it is easier to change the format of the things I mentioned above? I find the lack of this feature to be the most frustrating thing with Goodnotes. Otherwise, I love the app. Thanks!

    We should be able to see the words highlighted even if you have a colored background behind it, etc.

  4. Stylus sensitivity needs lower bound setting to control how firm you have to press before ink is laid down.

    I think the reason for so many questions about handwriting looking spidery or messy is that the sensitivity settings do not have a lower-bounds option. What I mean is that as well as the maximum pressure, there should also be the lowest pressure at which any pen creates any mark. I can just rest my stylus under it's own weight and it creates a clear mark. We should be able to adjust the lower bound setting so that we can control how firmly we have to press before any 'ink' is laid down.

  5. 1 Outline but Curated From Multiple Documents

    It would be wonderful to create a file (A) that allowed me to compile pages from many other documents/files (B, C, D.....) into file A's outline instead of copying and importing into file A. This would help tremendously with research papers and consolidating information on one topic from multiple sources.

  6. handwritten shortcuts

    A system which allows the user to create a shortcut that when a word/shape is written/drawn, it is automatically replaced with a sticker that is premade.

    for examples:
    writing xyz would insert a axis system sticker created by the user and assigned to xyz

  7. Be able change opaqueness of highlighter

    I think it would be easier if we had an option that allowed us to choose which opaqueness we wanted instead of having to overlap the same area again and again. Especially for someone like me that wants the overlapped areas to line up perfect.

  8. fixing moving

    When magnifying a pdf file in vertical scrolling state, if it is enlarged more than a certain percentage, it cannot be fixed to move left and right.

    I want to continue using the pdf file by enlarging it to fit the iPad's horizontal aspect ratio, but it's so inconvenient.

    Please bring back the DOUBLE LINE SPACING option from GoodNotes 4. Or an adjustable option that varies with the TYPE size entered. The default lines are TOO thin for proper writing for some of us.

  10. Disable Apple Pencil‘s double tap gestures when in Read-only mode

    This is very annoying when reading over the stuff you wrote. My Apple Pencil is somehow very sensitive when it covers to double tap gestures, so this is a must have.

  13. Make a way for people to vote on mod response

    Make a way for people to vote for the mod response as an appropriate solution.
    For example, the person requesting a calculator in app. The mod pointed out you can swipe and split the screen with a calculator, and that’s a brilliant idea I didn’t think of. I
    There’s no need for GoodNotes to develop and in app calculator, this would be a waste of the GoodNotes teams time and resources, and a waste of storage space on my iPad adding this feature to GoodNotes.
    I want to be able to vote and say the mods response is so great…

  14. Flashcards with linings etc. / Lernkarten liniert etc.

    To make them decent looking it would be good if there would be flashcards with linings, dotted etc. thus improving the handwriting and keeping one look at all notes (for the visual lerners)

  15. Notification

    Hi, passion planner release a digital version of their planner (www.passionplanner.com), they recommand to use goodnote 5 to have the best experience. I love your app and my passion planner, but it will be very very veryyyyyy usefull, for a person with ADHD (me :D), to have a notification calendar function in goodnote 5. Even for other fonction in goodnote 5, like flashcard and notebook. Sorry for my bad english writing, is not my first langage.

  16. some ideas for GoodNotes

    hello everyone!
    we have some ideas for GoodNotes. First of all, we find a protractor very helpful for mathematics lessons. Next, a kind of pen, so that we can choose a color on a picture or paper and then paint or write with this color (I really hope you understood!)

  17. Make highlighters go behind the text when using dark colored papers for better contrast.

    Highlighting with dark papers is currently bad. It goes over/on the text and it makes it harder to read.

  19. Haftnotiz mit Text verschieben.

    Im Moment kann ein Post-IT/ gelber Zettel im Dokument zwar angezeigt und „beschriftet“ werden, aber dieser Text lässt sich nicht zusammen verschieben, sollte man sich doch entschieden haben diese Notiz auf der Seite anders zu platzieren.

  20. Instagram followers

    So on my instagram I try to post every few days but sometimes I go 1 or 2 weeks without posting because I'm often too busy with other stuff to draw and not everything I do make I feel like is good enough to put on the internet. when I do post on instagram I'll get 3 or 4 followers but then after a few days of not posting most if not all of them will unfollow me. this happens every time I get new followers and I've only experienced this on instagram. so what gives, is instagram a place…
