Ability to Manually Save Notes
Due to Goodnotes using cloud service to save notes, it automatically saves the most recent changes.
However, the changes are sometimes not saved fully due to situations or carelessness such as: closing the app too soon, disconnect from wifi etc.
Due to this, I am suggesting the ability to manually save current notes so that it is updated into cloud service without us accidentally losing our notes.
It can help us confirm whether our notes are fullt saved into the cloud.

Currently goodnotes is really jerky while notetaking and scrolling through pages. Please allow a support for higher refresh rate like 120 Hz
I have witnessed that while of am scrolling my books the app feels very jerky and lags also the pages swivel left & right , It would be very nice to see 120 Hz being a thing in drawing, notetaking and scrolling.

Palm Rejection
Plam rejection must be made flawless. I have tried it on 3 devices on Windows 11, Lenovo Yoga 9i, Lenovo IdeaPad Windows Duet 5i and on Surface Pro 9.
On Lenovo devices I used the Digital Pen 2 as well as the Precision pen
For Surface Pro 9 I use the Slim pen 2.With a glove there are absolutely no issues with palm rejection as expected and the software works well.
BTW in my ipad pro works flawlessly. I am migrating to Windows devices so it will be fantastic when you fix this, which I believe is the most…12 votes -
eraser, snare tool bug when use surface slim pen2
If I try to erase the writing with the back of the surface pen and try to write it back to the front, it should automatically change to a pen, but sometimes the eraser remains the same. This issue didn't used to be, but it seems there is a bug in the current v75707 version. This is very uncomfortable. and There is also a bug that doesn't work when you use the snare tool using the side button of the slim pen.

Make a proper android app first
There needs to be a lot of slow and steady improvements before we can arrive at full feature parity with the IOS version. But we first need a proper android version and not a half baked web app for the foundation.
Hats off to the developers for the hard work. Hopefully we can have a full fledged android and windows application with syncing capabilities by fall, just in time for the next school year.
PS : there is an application on the play store which is already very close to the IOS version of Goodnotes called Jnotes.

Laggy
Improve the rendering speed. Whenever I scroll or zoom in/out it takes a while to render as well as when every I write something it takes time to show up. This is a major issue as it makes note taking difficult. If this is actual improved in the full version, I would be more than willing to pay for Goodnotes and make it my standard note-taking app.

Surface pen Problem with Goodnote 6
when using with surface pen it should work better, if i'm using eraser it should swap to eraser tool then when i'm using pen it should swap auto without a single touch on menu bar in Goodnote 6.

The lines you draw are not that good, it is not smooth lines. It shows some edges and aliasing.

Creating a "marker" or "add tag" function
Like Microsoft OneNote, introducing a feature to add tags to handwritten text or images within a page benefits students.
This feature would allow students to keep track of specific content instead of adding the entire page to the outline (like GoodNotes on IOS).
I have included a written example for more information.

Better palm rejection
Although there is a palm rejection, it fails quite frequently which is very annoying (renaisser pen, maybe it's incompatible?)

Make the buttons do what they say they do. The lasso tool is stuck as eraser tool
Lasso tool selected, touch pen to paper but it is the eraser tool not the lasso. Restarted app, sand issue, reload workbook select lasso get eraser. Give up to use pen tool... it is eraser too. Now what?
