Show All Open Notebooks” Button
Alright, fellow GoodNotes users — I need to rally some support on this one because it’s driving me crazy that it doesn’t exist yet. 😅
Ever been working in a few notebooks at once — maybe class notes, a planner, a side project — then you accidentally hit Home 🏠… and suddenly you’re like, “Where the hell did my other notebooks go?” Now you’re stuck reopening random ones or creating a new doc just so you can see what’s open.
Yeah. That. 🙃
We need a “Show All Open Notebooks” button or tab added to the main menu. Something simple…

Handwritting to Math Converter
You should be able to convert your handwriting to math like with Notability. When you write a note and hit convert, a math option should come up so you can simply convert your handwriting into proper typed math symbols.

Why does everyone say that GoodNotes is so bad on Android
I use my Samsung Tab s10+ for school and eveyone always says that since I'm on Android, I should avoid GoodNotes and instead use something like Samsung Notes. But it's lacking some features like a ruler and it overall has just less options, so I thought to maybe give GoodNotes a try and use it for a day. After that I realised that a lot of things people (mostly on reddit) said, just weren't true at all. It actually performs really great and doesn't lag even a tiny bit. It also has a ruler ---which X Trench Run, I…

[Fonts] Import Custom Fonts, Change Fonts, More Fonts
I'm sure more features will be added for the official release but one thing I want to see is the ability to add our own fonts for typing.

Please Fix Paste Priority
First of all, I wanted to say that I am using the web app on my laptop and I am loving it!! Send all my thanks to the goodnotes dev team for making such a nice windows port!
But this issue has been really hindering my work flow. I like to paste stuff from the web into my notes when writing, and in this case paste priority works perfectly (last copied), but if I copy any writing inside the note itself, with selection tool for example, I can't paste anything else even if I copied it after (last copied in…

Improving Mouse Support
I really enjoy using Goodnotes, but the desktop version could use better mouse support. Here are a few suggestions:
Text Selection with Mouse: It's hard to select text using a mouse right now. It would help to have a dedicated "text selection" tool for mouse users.
Shape Drawing with Mouse Drag: Please consider allowing users to draw shapes (like arrows, circles, rectangles) by dragging with the mouse (just like in OneNote, Google Docs, Word, and Canva on desktop)
Shift Key for Perfect Shapes: Support for holding Shift to draw straight lines (horizontal/vertical), perfect shapes (circle, square), and straight highlighter lines

Windows Goodnotes Shapes No Longer Modifiable?
I really liked being able to modify shapes by tapping on it in the shape tool to make small adjustments. I realized today that it stopped working. It is really frustrating when I'm using psychometric charts and can't line my line up with the appropriate one because it autosnaps to be completely vertical. Would love to see this feature back.

Extract text even from a scanned PDF
When will GoodNotes add features like layers, extended paper sizes, sub-outline support, dark mode, and a lasso tool that can extract text even from a scanned PDF? Kilonotes already has this feature, and I really like it because it makes creating reviewers easier. It seems like many note-taking apps already have these features, so why is it taking so long?

Keep document titles when exporting to PDF
Whenever you download a document as a PDF, the PDF doesn't have the same name as the document. If I want to download an entire folder of notes, I have to individually download each document and change the name of the PDF to match the name of the document that was downloaded. If I download a page called "Chapter 3" in Goodnotes, the exported name of the document is "Nf7a8WEvVZzuMMzFGF8B6U.pdf" which is very frustrating and time-consuming.

IPencil compatibility for the Web version on iPads
I exclusively use the web version on both Windows and iOS devices.
However, the iPencil does not work while using my iPad while using the Web version. It would be extremely helpful to be able to use the iPencil in the Web version on an iPad

All platforms access
I bought the Goodnotes 6 lifetime version, I would like to use my windows for typing long things but I'd have to delete my original account and then transfer everything over. That's not worth the small amount of tasks the web version allows you to do. I have no problem paying the extra $10/ year to add all platforms.

Automatic import of pdf documents
I wish Goodnotes allowed automatic document importing. At the moment, my PDF files don’t appear in the list of files available for import. I have to use WPS Office to convert them into a format that Goodnotes can accept.

Web version feels too limited compared to mobile
I’ve been trying out the web version of Goodnotes for a while, and while I appreciate having access from any device, I feel that it’s still quite limited compared to the iOS/Android apps. For example, chiikawa puzzle features like handwriting search, pressure-sensitive pen input, and easier notebook management are missing.
I think having at least basic support for these functions on the web would make Goodnotes much more practical for people who use different platforms daily. Right now, the web version feels more like a viewer than a real workspace.
Just wanted to share my thoughts — I really enjoy…
