There should definitely be a feature to automatically insert & update page numbers. I normally write them myself in real notebooks, and while I can do that in Goodnotes, a massive problem arises if I move, insert, or delete pages.

One suggestion is to provide a template box that appears when we “insert page numbers” and we could drag the box to whichever part of the page we want the numbers to show.

Or if not done that way and the option is just to “turn page numbers on”, offer location choice: top/bottom of page; left, right, or center justification; a ruler or guide to allow manual definition of left/right alignment; and size, font, and color options.

Fully agree. When we reach the last page of a notebook, there should be no “pull” or extra gesture necessary to reach a new page. It should be continuous & smooth, just as it is when scrolling through already-created pages.

Failing continuous scrolling, the ‘new page’ swipe should require a *much* shorter pull gesture. I should be able to quickly flick and create a new page with my finger — currently I have to move my whole hand (and sometimes arm) before I reach the point where the new page gets added. It interrupts my note-taking flow, particularly since i’m on an iPad Mini and almost certainly need new pages more frequently than someone on an iPad Pro.
