I saw pencil-like texture on reMarkable 2 tablet and now just suffer because GoodNotes or any other alternative doesn't provide this, except for standard Apple's Notes which is a bit too limited and sometimes buggy. Very much hope that this will be implemented in GoodNotes.

I love good notes & this is the only feature it’s missing IMO. This feature is the only thing keeping me from going even deeper into GoodNotes, especially for personal projects. I don’t want to bounce between procreate & goodnotes for storyboarding, comic, etc, please introduce a pencil. Light grey highlighter is my bandaid for now :/

Please consider adding a pen customization setting that would allow you to smooth your handwriting. In Procreate it is the “streamline” setting. I love my handwriting in Procreate but hate how jittery it is in GoodNotes.

I would love for GoodNotes to include a brush that mimics the texture of pencil on paper! Right now we only have pen like brushes, which is great. However, I feel like this additional feature could really step up GoodNotes game! The only app that I've found using a pencil-like brush is Apple Notes (not considering Procreate, since it's designed mainly for illustration, not taking notes).

Could you pleeeease consider including a pencil-textured brush? Pleeease?

Please have a pencil style option similar to apple notes app. I just prefer it so much more then the current fountain pen style

Could not agree more. I purchased GoodNotes 5 and still find myself using Notes instead for this one reason...!

I can't believe this has been opened for more than 4 years now.
Please include this feature. None of the Pen options in GoodNotes are as natural as the Pencil tool in Notes app.

Add a pencil feature like in Apple notes or a rainbow pen like in One Note.

the laser pen for presentation is much better than the pen used to make notes ,I want to use the laser pen to write my notes

i think it would bring GOODNOTE more analogically mood.

One reason I keep going back to the apple note app is for the graphite pencil option. It makes my notes look more organic, which I really enjoy. I love GoodNotes for all of its other features, but this has been a request since 2016, basically for 5 years now and there still is no graphite pencil.

It would be amazing if GoodNotes are able to introduce a graphite pencil, it will be so helpful for drawing sketches in my notes. Have been using Good Notes for 2 years and the only thing missing is a pencil. that would make it the best notes app in the business.

If GoodNotes had a pencil, similar to what's available in Apple Notes, it would cement GoodNotes as the clear winner in this space. As it stands write now, I bounce around between apps, because nothing looks as good or feels as natural as the graphite pencil in Apple Notes.
