Some of these ideas may have been mentioned before, and maybe they haven’t, but these are some features I would like to see.

Sending things forward or backward. Or picture layering.

Being able to select handwriting, photos or text boxes and being able to bring it forward or backward so they can layer. It would be super useful for those who digital planner journals or scrapbook.

This one I know has been said, but voice recording.

The ability to convert text directly, rather than a cop and then have to paste, while proceeding to delete the original handwritten text.

The ability to toggle off highlighter layering. I would love to colour more with the highlighter, but, I have to do it one motion otherwise it will layer. It would be nice to do it in more than one sweep.

The ability to choose which what the document scrolls per document. Right now when you change the scrolling it changes for every document. It would be nice to be able to choose the way the document scrolls. Some files I prefer to see vertically while others I want to see horizontally, especially when working in two good notes documents on the iPad.

Please add the possibility to draw on different layers. It would be helpful both for notes and drawings, to be able to draw and edit in different layers.

I was wondering if there can be an option to select a page element and “Bring Forward” or “Send Back” so that I wouldn’t have to worry about layers being obscured. This would be especially helpful for inserting images on top of preexisting text when I want the text to be visible on top of the images.

Add a lock feature like keynote that allows you to lock an image or text layer. That you can’t move, lasso, highlight unless you unlock it yourself.

please add the ability to create layers and manipulate layers. Second please add the ability to create text like ZN where you can use any test that is in your ipad

I use GoodNotes for business files. Layers would be priceless! I could record on one level, comment on another and be able to turn comments off when sharing with the customer. Part recommendations on another. This would leave all records for that visit totally in one document. W/opacity variables would be great as I could create overlays for the customer to so they can see actually visualize the modifications we are suggesting. Please add layers & hyperlinks to websites and or email.

Using Layers, like in drawing apps, we could turn on and off the things we want to see in that page. This feature would help in exercises for example, where the answer can be hidden when you are re-doing an exercise

please ad layers! It would be great to have laysers with opacity too!

Layers are vital to making Q&A notes. Had there been layers, I could put questions and answers on different layers, and hide answers easily. This is the last thing I'm looking forward to in GoodNotes.

when I tap the lasso tool, I would love that there will be an option in the menu for shapes created by shape tool, just like those options for handwriting, images, text boxes.

For instance. Sometimes I might write on color-filled shapes. I would lasso it if I need to move it, but it would be impossible to move the handwriting without the shape along with it, because the shape was color-filled and I wrote on it.

As a new user, I'm surprised layers wasn't the first thing implemented, maybe this isn't for tech drawings.

EVERYTIME i print my page with foto’s and text, my photo’s are gone.. i Think its beceaus They are print in differt layers, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. Sometimes it works when i send myself it page for page, somethimes iT works when i frist put it in iBooks

Add capability to use layers so that images can be colored in different layers and add a paint tool with hundreds of color options. A note and paint app all in one

In version 4, I tried to create my own "layers" through a workaround. The app built "layers" in the order items were created - so, for example, if I drew an object in one color, then a different type of object over top of it in another, the second object would be "on top" of the first. If I wanted to switch the layering of those objects, I would just select the first object, cut it, then paste it and it would then move to the top. It appears as those version 5 has removed the ability to do this?

Please add!!! Also ability to deselect layers.

My problem is the layers work sometimes the way I need them then the exact opposite a second later. Is there a way to control this? It worked a second ago I can even return o the previous work and see that it was functioning to my needs. !!! Please help
