Fix Annoying Font Issue
I am unable to change the default font. I have a particular font and size preference (19 point Helvetica) but every time I copy-paste text, it automatically goes to 28 points Apple Color Emoji. This could be fixed with a customizable default font and size feature. Also -- when I change the font first, then the size second, the font annoyingly reverts back to Apple Color Emoji again. Somehow changing the font size makes the text revert again back to the undesired default font. It would be a fantastic time-saver if this were fixed.

It is unvelievable that you cannot do that anymore. When I finally found the way to do it, the option is grayed out. This is so annoying. I just discovered you change this but since I had the right set-up I had no idea until I upgraded my iPad to a new one, this cannot be.

I’m experiencing this issue on GoodNotes 6 (latest version) running on iPadOS 18.5.
I save “楷体 + Bold” as my favorite/default font, but every new text box reverts to standard (non-bold) font.
It used to work before, but now it always resets. It’s really disrupting my note-taking workflow. Please help. -

Exactly!! When I type a space, my default font always changes to ‘Helvetica’, every time!! This bug keeps decreasing my productivity and is super annoying. Hope they could fix this as soon as possible.

I am also running into this issue when I added my custom handwriting font. It kept reverting back to Helvética font even though I made my custom font a default. It’s really annoying. I wish this issue was solved sooner.
