I've been ******* this drum for years now to all major note taking app creators, GoodNotes, Notability, Nebo (MyScript). None listened so far, except GoodNotes, however only to say '[zoom lock] idea has been combined with a similar idea so we can consider them together'.

I am not holding my breath for the implementation but I've subscribed to the 6th version (I was on the 5th) to see if/when they would deliver.

Two side-by-side windows is not practical at all, the writing is not done live and the laser does not work.

This is so important to me. I want to write in the zoom window while looking back at the other page sometimes. But when I do that, everytime I lift my pen, the entire page keeps jumping around. It would help me so much.

Agreed - so annoying

I can see the cursor slipping out and away from the nib of my pen as I write. Calibration is necessary so that marks appear where they are intended.

When I zoom in I should be able to lock the page to that zoom level so that it doesn't change when I get a notification or place my palm on the page to continue writing.

Ability to lock page zoom, and scroll with two fingers.

Yessss please add a page lock button, im new to this so it would really help if the page wasn't moving while I am handwriting

Add a lock button to freeze page layout when writing. Too many times the page is moving during note taking.

Add a simple lock button that will help us stay with the same bevel of zoom of that particular document. And also a button for continuous scrolling. PLEASE!

Give users an option to not snap the main view to the zoom window whenever the zoom window moves: just have the main view stay on content

I really like the zoom window. But I don't know if it's just me, for a lot of times my palm touching the screen is detected as an action to resize the zoom window, and I need to resize it again so that my writing would be the same size.So, I was wondering if the development team could kindly make a feature to temporarily fix the size of the zoom window so that users can toggle to fix the size when they would like to?

I've read the work-around of using two windows, but sometimes I want to zoom into a particular part of my visualization and lock this part, so students can better read this part. And at the same time I might have to zoom in even more so that I can better add aspects. It would be extremely helpful to have this lock-feature again. Especially on a small screen multiple windows result in having not enough space to actually do what I want to do.

It would be very helpful

I saw a couple suggestions to add a zoom lock (hey, palm rejection isn't perfect) and wanted to add an extra suggestion (for touch devices such as iPad). Add a button for locking zoom/horizontal scrolling and change the single-finger double tap from smart zoom to another tool, such as eraser, when the zoom is locked.

So with the zoom unlocked, double tap would work as smart zoom, just as it currently does. With zoom locked, the double tap could switch tools instead of having to click on the toolbar every time. Could be a massive time saver in the long run and since the double-finger double tap code is already written this might not be too difficult to implement (wishful thinking I know)!

As we all know, it's very comfortable for everyone to write in a certain paper size ratio. But now, because the size ratio of the paper often changes, so I have to spend a long time to adjust the size of the paper.
