Searching within folder and phrases
It would be hugely beneficial to search documents within specific folders instead of searching all of my documents as a whole. Also, it would be helpful to be able to search for exact phrases instead of having the search broken up into single words within the phrase. Notability has both of these functions and makes searching for information a lot more efficient!

This is a necessity! I have more than 10gb used of documents in goodnotes. Many of the documents have similar words and I would spend ages looking through all the search results for “bacteria” if I can only search within one document or the entire bank of documents. It is very inefficient.

As a student who uses Goodnotes for everything, often it is hard to find notes because the global search includes everything and shows too many results from unrelated notes. The ability to search within select folders would greatly improve the ability to find the notes we need.

Yes this would really be ideal! If I'm looking up something for a paper or open-book exam, having all these non-relevant files and folders included just really crowds out the search and I have to waste time trying to filter through the results when a focused search would have done the trick.

The ability to search a folder as a stand alone, in addition to the search already incorporated into the app. This allows for more pin point and precise data look up for those that need to quickly search a specific area of notes and not the entire app.

Search feature: being able to search within a specific folder, notebook or any document . When we do a search currently it will give you results of all different notes that will match your search description and even tho that is helpful it would be more helpful if you can perform a search on that specific folder currently open....

Also looking for a search within individual folders. Too much time being spent trying to go through all search results across all documents. Any update also to when this feature might be added?

Waiting for this from a lot of time. Actually I'm a university student and since most of the subject have similar terms (I'm studing computer engineering), it is annoying that the search is giving me too much results (since it will be looking in all the folders, so in all the subjects). This is ruining the goal of the search tool, since i'm forced to search "by hand" among the search results. Hope this will be updated soon..

In GoodNotes 4, the search function within certain folders was very useful.
In GoodNotes 5 it is unfortunately not yet possible to search within a specific folder. Instead, there is only a superordinate direct text search. Is it possible to implement a search in a specific folder?
That would be great! -

Customizing searches or ability to archive old documents
When searching I do not have the ability to select which folders to search in. As a medical student, I use goodnotes for every lecture as well as all textbooks and have an excessive amount of files. The ability to search within a selection of folders would limit the amount of search results I have. Another option could be to offer an archive function that removes certain documents/folders from future searches.
