Margins for handwriting
Please add the ability to set margins on both sides of handwriting paper. The auto advance works great, but since you cannot set the margin on the right side of the paper, the handwriting often goes right to the edge of the paper before the auto-return takes you to the next line.

In freenotes there is a feature to expand the pdf page (one side or both) this enable the user to write extra notes in the same page of the pdf side by side rather than one extra page (before or after). I found that page expansion very easy to use and helpful as it give me my notes in the same page and i dont need to shuffle around. Please add this feature in goodnotes as well

I’d love to see a page expansion feature inside GoodNotes.
Right now, when reading or studying, I often want to write notes beside the page content. However, the page margins are sometimes too narrow, leaving very limited space for annotations. This makes it difficult to keep detailed notes organized next to the material I’m reading.
It would be extremely helpful if users could temporarily expand the sides of a page or add extra writable margin space. This additional area could act like a flexible side note panel for annotations, thoughts, translations, or study comments without covering the original content.
A feature like this would improve the reading and studying experience significantly, especially for users who rely heavily on handwritten marginal notes while staying focused on the original page.

Hello everyone. I managed to find a partial solution to our problem. When you switch to vertical scrolling and add somewhere in the document page wider than the rest, you can then zoom in and the margins on the right remain. Still, this is just a workaround, so I hope we get some better solution from the developers. Hope it helps

Yes please! This applies to the end of the page as well. Even using the magnifier I can not rest my hand comfortably when writing on right to the edge of the paper. If I could move the page to the left half of the screen, I could rest the hand on the right side and write comfortably.
