Notebooks that remember pen settings
I usually keep two notebooks open on my iPad in tabs. I write in thin black on one notebook, and the other notebook I write on an index card template in a thick marker like pen setting. Moving between tabs, it would be nice if a notebook would remember the last pen setting used inside it. I need to switch back and forth quickly, and having to change pen type, color and thickness every single time gets old fast. Thanks for your great product!

I hope they do this!! I have to write somewhere in the notebook what pen settings I used for that notebook (like what colours, brush size, etc). I switch to different notebooks very frequently and I want the pen settings the be saved so bad to save time.

I love to have each notebook a different theme and it would be cool if you could assign certain colors, pens, sizes ect... to a note book instead of switching back and forth

I totally agree. It was working this way in GoodNotes 4. I often have one document open with the highlighter, and another one where I take notes with the pen.
Since GoodNotes 5, each time I change tab, I have to change the pen setting which is really annoying...

Sometimes I have different templates for several notebooks. Some of them may have light background colors and the others may have dark background colors. In this case, every time I switch between these notebooks, I have to change my pen color so that the writings can be shown appropriately and look pleasingly. I wish we could save pen color settings for different notebooks to save this trouble. Thank you!

Have the pen settings so it’s not saved as a global settings. Eg Fountain pen for note taking, Ballpoint pen for drawings.
