Lock an object size while rotating
When you rotate an object after using the lasso, it is not possible to keep the size because the functions are mixed. Resizing and rotating should be two functions or you need to be able to lock the size while rotating.

This would be such a helpful feature. I like to use GoodNotes for map-making and sketching and not being able to rotate copied sections without them changing size is a huge pain and leaves me looking for other options. Maybe the rotate icon could be moved to a separate corner of the selection box from the resize icon.

When selecting text with the lasso tool, you should be able to choose to either resize or rotate. It is very hard to do one of the options individually in the current setup with the resize/rotation combo button, especially with geometrical shapes that shouldn’t change its size even a millimetre but i want to rotate. (I linked a very simple example as well. As you can see, when rotating using the current rotate/resize combo button, the size isn’t 100% the same anymore)
Basically just add an option to rotate without changing size please

As an interior designer, I use this to sketch floor plans with furniture inside. When I’m playing with my furniture layouts, it is impossible to keep the furniture to scale because I cannot rotate without accidentally resizing the furniture. Also, please allow us to group (and lock) certain things together (lines, shapes, words) so we can more easily move and maneuver only what we intend to. Thank you!!! Love this app.

I'd like to be able to rotate an object without the scale changing. Please make these separate functions!

Often, I want to rotate an object but want to it stay the same size. It would be nice to lock the size when rotating. A similar function to lock rotation when resizing would also be very nice.

I just want to rotate my selection a little but it over rotates or snaps back into its original position.
I hope GoodNotes can have some kind of function to disable snapping or make it possible to rotate selections like how some photo apps do it. (Sliding a bar left to right to rotate to the exact degree you want.)
Thanks!

I downloaded Goodnotes 5 because it promised I could rotate a selection. However every time I rotate the selection is changes the scale of it. Is there any way of separating these two functions. Or when you rotate that your able to lock the scale so it doesn't change?

Free transform images, instead of having a magnetic type transform.

unfortunately, I have no more points but this feature is important and same time relatively simple to implement

Shape transform(size, ratio) and snap (shape point)
