Yes please! The only thing holding me back from switching to Goodnotes 5

Like in Goodnotes 4, when you entered the let’s call it ‚writing mode‘, it was possible to change pencil colors and writing devices directly where the extra field appears and not only where the main objects were. This feature made quick writing way easier!

YES! This is the most annoying part when I have moved to Goodnotes 5 from 4. I cannot understand why they have got rid of these tools for the zoom window.

Just posting to plead for the undo / redo buttons to come back to the zoom window. I posted about this in the blog as well. The two finger and three finger taps make sense only if you are writing with your fingers. If you are using a pencil, this is a very inefficient way to undo writing mistakes while in the zoom window.

YES! similar to Goodnotes 4 would be wonderful, especially undo and redo buttons.

This absolutely needs to be done! I use Letter size pages for my homework so that I can print them out when need be (which happens quite often). I use zoom mode so that I can see the whole page above and still be able to write properly. When I go to select things with the Lasso tool, it completely removes me from zoom mode. How in the heck am I supposed to select things when they're comparatively tiny on the page? I then have to zoom in to select properly, do my operation, and zoom back out. It would be sooooo much nicer to be able to just use the lasso while still in zoom mode. Not sure why this isn't a standard thing.

May we have ink color and line thickness tools added to the zoom window?

Maybe also while the zoom window is open move the pen, eraser, highlighter shape, and lasso tools to the zoom window toolbar, too. I think this would be a great improvement for User Experience.

Please enable Lasso tool in the zoom window for Goodnotes 5!

This is something that should have been added into the features. However, two years later, Goodnotes 5 still doesn't have this lasso function implemented.

Please make lasso available in zoom window when writing. Current behavior is exit zoom window when lasso is selected.

It would be nice if the "lasso" select feature would scale with zoom, to make it easier to select items when zoomed in. The dashed "lasso" remains the same thickness at all zoom levels.

Yes, this would be very helpful! At the moment it is hard to use Lasso on large irregular regions with many tight spots. Also making Lasso boundary adjustable after selection is made would be extremely helpful.

Correction: I would like the ability to, while in the zoom window, lasso an element, tap it to pull up a contextual menu, that includes the ability to "cut, copy, paste, etc". just wasn't sure if that was clear from my suggestion and couldn't see a way to edit it.

Please add the lasso tool with the tap to pop up contextual menu to "cut copy past" into the zoom window. This would add a lot of function to the zoom window for those of us using the app on a small screen.

This feature is in notability, so it can definitely be done. It's also a really handy feature and would really speed up my workflow, especially since I use it for manipulating equations a lot.

Using 'lasso' to close the zoom window has the same effect as the current 'close' button - it closes the window. But I often close the zoom window because I want to lasso/edit/move something, so it would be really helpful to go straight to this tool, instead of needing another click in the main menu.
If it's something else I want - say, a custom pen colour or another line width - then I have to go to the main menu at the top of the screen anyway, so the fact that the lasso tool is selected by default on closing the zoom window is no problem.

Often I need to use Lazzo function during a Zoom Window; when selected, Lazzo function closes Zoom Window, forcing me to zoom the page I'm using, to work better

If you add a Lazzo Icon in the Zoom Window toolbar, you could leave the users to work in this environment; in the same time, selecting the Lazzo icon in the Main Window Toolbar, the funcionality could be leaved as it is: close the Zoom Window and work on whole page.

Not a new idea, just a conglomeration of other ones. The colors on the zoombox toolbar are great. Please add the highlighter, eraser, lasso, and shapes options to the zoombox toolbar as well. Great app which gets better with updates. It's significantly changed the way I take notes. Thank you very much.

Find it annoying to have to zoom in on the page sometimes to get a precise selection, and a lot of the time I might just wanna move a word over to add space for another, using the lasso tool in the zoom is would make many things more efficient, it would also help if the lasso line was a bit thinner when zoomed in on a page. Great app though.
