It will be very useful if we could add more than three colors to the pallet.

I ABSOLUTELY agree. This suggestion has been flagged for years now. It would be great if they finally got around to improving GN with this simple feature! MORE COLOURS PLEASE!

People have been asking for this since at least 2019. I felt the need to report since it is halfway through 2022 and there still is only 3 colours. There is a lot of unused space in the top par, even in smaller iPad models. There is space for at minimum 6 colours. Having to switch back and forth makes note taking a lot less efficient. GoodNotes is far behind. Notability allows us to add a large numb of favourite pens/highlighters and dag the fact bar across the screen. It is difficult to justify using GoodNotes when colour coding while reading due to the loss of time switching the colours.

Be able to save more than 3 colors as a favorite in the pen and highlighter area.

Okay guys hear me out, everyone is literally asking for more than 3 colors on the toolbar, it's really easy to do and could improve the productivity of 100000%. So please listen to another user tired of having only 3 colors :(

do not limit the highlight bar to only 3 colors!! at least make it to 5 please!!!

Redesign the zoom space and add a toolbar in it (red) & add an option to choose more than 3 colours in the top bar (green)
Maybe an option to allow a selection of colours for each document (6 colours for one, 6 colours for other, etc) because sometimes when you use documents with another colour palette you must change the top colours many times :c

I use a lot of different colors when I take notes. It helps me remember concepts better so I can color coat specific ideas. As of now, it is a real inconvenience having to click twice to change my color if it’s not already one of my 3 pre-selected colors. Sure, it’s just an extra tap, but since I change colors so frequently (sometimes multiple times on a single sentence), it ends up being really inconvenient. I know I’ve seen this recommended a couple times but I think a great thing to add would be a “toolbar” right below our edit tools. We definitely have room at the top of our notepad to include this I believe, and for me I 100% wouldn’t mind having it there. Maybe make it optional for people who want the extra screen space and don’t use much colors. But for the people who use a lot of colors (which it seems to be a lot), this would be extremely helpful.

I second that idea. 3 colors on the tool bar aren't enough. Please add more.

I use several colors regularly and I must select the one that does not appear in the bar. If there were 4 colors and even five you could have them available more quickly. Others handwriting apps have quite a few colors available on the taskbar so you don't waste time choosing. In the figure I have put six colors and it does not look bad.

Could you please add more colors to the top right menu instead of just 3, like give us the option to add more. Also please add a ruler.

Even on the smaller iPad Pro there is a lot of unused space, there could easily be space for 6 colors.

When typing in Mac , more Color can’t be added n I need to manually key in the Color code to standardised my handwritten Color

It would be great if you could save more than three colours for pen/highlighter. The space in the top right corner would be enough to save 5 colours. Would really help folks who study with highlighting in (many) different colours

Even the option to have 4 colors instead of just 3 in the toolbar would be wonderful.

I would like to request more than 3 color choices on the toolbar. There are a few items that are not vita that I would love to replace with additional color choices.

Please let me know if this option is already available.
