Ability to crop images
I wish you add the ability to crop imported images

The freehand cropping tool definitely could use some improvements. What would be SO much better than a lasso-style freehand cropping tool (which gives you ONE shot to get it right and is so difficult for those of us with a shaky hand), would be to allow for precision erasing. Even better, allow selection of background (similar color selection) to erase (the way the MagicEraser app works).

One thing I would love to see is a possibility for inserted images to easily go to crop mode without going to the menu. Maybe a dedicated button could be added like the button for deleting the image and resizing it.

Make it possible to zoom an image while cropping so that it can be cropped easier. Especially needed when the dimension of the rectangle I want to crop is very small.

Currently I have to crop the image manually every time when I take a picutre of the slide during a presentation. It would be very helpful if there was an option to do the cropping automatically and also do a simple correction for projection effects to make the slide the appropriate aspect ratio.

I tend to paste images of text or diagrams onto my notes and I find myself using freehand cropping more often. I was wondering if there was a way to make my freehand lines straight? The best way I can describe it is I want my cropped images to look like a Tetris piece instead of a sloppy cropping. I can’t draw in a straight line and I would love for my freehand cropped images had clean lines.

It's much harder to crop a photo after it's been added and downsized and the crop tool buried in UI menus. There is no reason for undesired information to ever appear in a notebook. Undesired information should be able to be cropped out of a photo before ever appearing in the notebook.
This would be a better workflow than how GoodNotes currently works:
-Add photo/Take photo
-In photo screen display crop tools so you can CROP UP FRONT
-Then already cropped image appears on notes page for quick positioning and resizing.
