Bullet list / Sub-bullet points
Allow indentation with bullet points on the "Bulleted List" on the new text feature on Goodnotes 5, not just on the first line of bullet points. Similar to how you would take notes using bullet points in Microsoft, Google, or Pages. PLEASE!

The bullet point icon is great for the first level ( ⢠), but once you indent / create sub-bullets, the icons are super big and clunky ( ⯠⬄ ⬦ā¼ļø ... ). I wish there was an option to just use the normal dots ( ⢠) or dashes ( ā ) for all indentation levels.
Example #1:
⢠text goes here....
⢠text goes here....
⢠text goes here....
⢠text goes here....Example #1:
ā text goes here....
ā text goes here....
ā text goes here....

Bullet point points and numbered list is such a basic feature to make schematics and tidy notes. Text tools really are lacking in Goodnotes.

Iām not in social sciences and I mainly use the freeform mode for my study cards and when I have a text answer, I often type it out via text box - also means I can organize the text how I want (maybe details in smaller and fainter font). Iāll highlight, bold, or change the colour when I need to emphasize. It is annoying to have to click in and out from freeform mode, but if you havenāt tried, this could give you some flexibility in the meantime

This is so badly needed and they need to add the tabbing feature that Microsoft word has

Hi Goodnotes Team,
I really enjoy using Goodnotes for my notes! I wanted to suggest a small feature that would help a lotāthe ability to add subpoints or indented bullets in text boxes.
Right now, I can only make one-level lists, but it would be great if we could press Tab or have an option to indent for sub-bullets (like outlining main ideas and details).
Thanks for making such a great app!

- Kindly include an option to disable the bullet function. I would like to use the symbol ā-ā.
- Add more bullet point symbols. -

This is something I use in Apple Notes on a regular basis and need this as a part of my workflow. I am attempting to switch from Apple Notes to Goodnotes, and this would seal the deal for me.

Since the new OS was released for IPAD, Iāve found that the bullet points are no longer automatic. When I hit enter from the end of a bullet point, the typing goes back to paragraph mode, making it so I have to manually switch back to bullet point with each new line. Can you please correct this to how it was before?

Agreed! I just realized mine is doing this too, and came to this site to submit a support ticket. I really hope the feature wasn't taken away.

Superscript and subscript especially would be so nice!

The bulletpoints used to just start a new one with every press of enter and it was amazing. Now it doesn't do that anymore and the bulletpoints like to glitch as well. My bullet points now require me to go back over the written text and manually press bulletpoint for every sentence I want. I don't know if this is a bug or some new feature but please fix it.

ability to tab bullet points (like in word.docx) in text boxes

Additionally, the bullets system while typing is fairly tedious. It needs to be able to advance bullets when pressing āRETURNā on the keyboard and also allow for tabbing on the bullets. Otherwise I have to change the text back to āparagraphā and then change it back to ābulletsā to get it to change properly.

Having the ability to tab bullet points, where similar to .docx programs, you can have cascading bullet points. That way I can make notes under a specific, already existing, bullet point without having spacing/alignment issues when the line gets too long.

I desperately need sub-bullet points! I am on the verge of changing note-taking apps because of THIS! If Goodnotes cannot quickly add this option, then it cannot support my needs as a Nursing student!! Please, please, please, please, please! Notes do not make sense without the ability to make lists within lists.
Please and thank you!!!!!!! -

Hi do alot of notes for my test and this is a critical feature.
How can a person take notes with only 1 bullet indent level :( -

please add subscript, superscript and bullet points for the text boxes! It is an easy fix and very very important!

This is absolutely critical to quickly organizing information when typing things out. Hard to understand why this isn't already integrated.

Please add in the ability to use bullet points in study sets. Us social science/humanities students usually have super long answers to flashcards, and it would be so helpful to be able to use bullet points instead of just a dash!

Please please please add sub bullet points! As a student this is a critical flaw of goodnotes and is making me have to use other platforms for my needs
