Table of Contents
Please create an auto-generated table of contents template, that can also be edited. This should include an option to sort by date, through your outline, or topics.
Someone else said "Allow me to select the text, eg my page heading like (meeting to discuss projected financial) and then click on a button which shoots the page heading to an automatically generated table of contents in the front of the Notebook. Table of contents will be built using all the specified headings, and should also display the date of that entry for easy reference." THIS IS GREAT AND SO HELPFUL.

That’s a fascinating direction for Good notes! Integrating notepad printing features could really bridge the gap between digital and physical note-taking. Imagine being able to print directly from your digital notebooks with customized templates or precise scaling it would be a huge productivity boost for designers and students alike. In a similar way, I’ve seen how software like Orca Slicer optimizes precision in 3D printing by converting digital models into accurate, real-world prints. Both approaches show how smart software-to-hardware integration can make creative workflows smoother and more efficient. https://orcaslicer.pro/

Watching the online entertainment market develop in the US, I realized that a good platform is not only about games, but also about trust. At https://hamster-run.live/ , everything is transparent, no surprises. This is important, especially when you just want to spend a quiet evening without any unnecessary hassle.

It would be useful to be able to create more detailed table of contents with sub-tables of contents for each chapter, like in some PDF files. This would allow better organization and structure of the notes. Moreover, it would be convenient to be able to specify the exact location where a chapter begins, so that the link from the table of contents leads directly to the right position on the page, and not to the beginning of the page.
Here is a visual example of what a more detailed table of contents with sub-tables of contents could look like:
Table of Contents
1. Introduction .......................................... 1
1.1 Background and problem statement ................ 2
1.2 Objectives and methodology ...................... 4
2. Literature review ..................................... 6
2.1 Definitions and key concepts .................... 7
2.2 State of the art and previous works ............. 9
3. Data analysis ......................................... 12
3.1 Sources and data collection ..................... 13
3.2 Data processing and visualization ............... 15
4. Discussion and conclusion ............................. 18
4.1 Main results and contributions .................. 19
4.2 Limitations and perspectives .................... 21 -

A great capability that should definitely be added is Tables of contexts. They could be introduced as different default designs to which you can add context pertained to pages that you can click on and be redirected to the related notes. This could facilitate navigating through the app with much more ease and less scrolling through the pages to find the one looked for.

It would be really nice if you could make the outlines more interactive, to be able to do stuff with it. After all, this is our table of contents and I would like if it was possible to export it, print it and even have a toggle to show it within the document on the side (not on the page directly but by the side of the marked page) like Microsoft word’s proof reading correction comments.
Furthermore, something that has been causing me a headache is once you mark a page and give it a title in the outline, if you then edit the page later, the contents may get disassociated, moved a page up or down etc, therefore, I would like to request a reminder function that would say you are editing an outlined page, is the contents still matching the outline? There could be a fourth tab next to outlines that would list and keep track of changes and leave the unclosed alerts on the top as a reminder to check. An alert system like so would be super duper useful for me, please.
Thanks

You can add the option to create table of content without the need to draw any one every time
And I would that you will add the Hebrew language for the handwriting recognition -

A next step that can be contemplated is to have GoodNotes access my calendar and paste a link to the entry in the notes of my meeting planner, so that I could go to calendar and click on link to see what my notes where for that meeting eg four months ago.

You write a subtitle, then you're able to mark it as that and it will appear at the beginning of your book in a normal written (not hand-written) style.
Also i would love if the few last and the few next subtitles would appear next to the site you're currently using. While you can swipe horizontal to change the site you can scroll vertically to go through your titles and tap at it.
in the vertical (tablet) mode is a lot of blank space. would be great if it could be used. -

Most of PDFs have build-in links in the table of content. However, GN aren't enable to click those links to navigate to the page. I need to add outlines by myself.
I really need this feature, especially for those PDFs with too many pages.

Can GoodNotes please allow me to export my notes with a table of content and handwriting recognition at the same time? It is such a bummer that I cannot have both of these basic features to exist in the same file :(

Save a page for B side, and then by clicking on the A/B button to quickly go back and forth between the saved page (B) and where you were before that (A).
Page header idea is to make the Table of Content to only add the Headers, which is supposed to represent a new chapter/topic. That way it won't have to add every single concept paper and other papers as a own content line. Make it clickable.

I agree. Some pdf textbooks come with a table of contents but goodnotes doesnt always make a table if contents with it. I would love to make a table of contents to find the chapter we are on in class with goodnotes.

I take my course notes using this app and love it. It would be nice though to be able to make the table of contents when making my notes so it would be quicker to parse my notes by topics
