[Audio Recording] Speech-to-text / Dictation
I use goodnotes in uni and have audio recording turned on during notes in my lectures. The thing I have noticed is that while helpful, for many of my classes, when I go to make refined notes it means i have to go back and listen to the whole lecture again (often pausing alot write down and catchup with things the prof said). This means that I often have to spend 2-3 hours on a one hour lecture just to get everything the prof said written down so I don’t miss anything. Thats alot of time dedicated to a class before I even start actually studying. I have recently encountered a couple experiences with speech-to-text annotation (through zoom & otter.ai). My immediate reaction was how amazing it would be to have this on Goodnotes & save me going back through all my recordings in good notes to write everything down, would be a life saver. In the future I would LOVE to see such a feature in goodnotes with a side bar type scenario of that syncs up with recordings.

There should be a feature that converts recorded or captured speech into text.

As a teacher, I would like to give my students a record of our conferencing (hand written post-it) while keeping a record of the conference for myself, too. If I can dictate the conference to Goodnotes while I am handwriting the post-it, I will get the best of both worlds. Other notes apps have this dictation feature, but they are not as well organized as yours.
