[Apple Pencil Pro (squeeze) palette] Support toolbar customization
We all use different tools more frequently, and the new squeeze-to-display-palette with the Apple Pencil Pro is fantastic, but it isn't reflecting the new customized order we make in the top toolbar. And of course it should, it seems to me.

When we squeeze the Apple Pencil, there’s a toolbar coming out right? But we cannot customise the tools inside. Example: I do not want the Lasso tool be the first tool. Whenever I want to change to eraser or other things, I need to drag the tools selection, it’s inconvenient as I can’t change the priority of the tools I used.

I want to customize the order of Apple Pencil quick bar. Currently, Customizing tool bar(not Apple pencil quick bar) is available, but not Apple pencil quick bar.
I use Lasso tool a lot, but at quick bar, it's way to far to approach on it. -

When I squeeze the Apple Pencil Pro, the floating toolbar (Palette) appears. It currently contains many tools I rarely use, while the Lasso tool — which I use constantly — is placed almost at the end of the list.
Please add an option to customize/reorder the tools in the Apple Pencil Pro squeeze toolbar (Palette). -

Missing the previous Apple Pencil Pro squeeze customization since the update. It used to be possible to assign tools individually, especially the Lasso tool, and now the Lasso is only available in the top toolbar. The tool palette can no longer be customized, which forces constant reaching up to select the Lasso. I use the Lasso tool a lot and this slows down my entire workflow because the purpose of the Pencil Pro squeeze was quick access without moving the arm. There is also no option to revert back to GoodNotes 6. Screenshots are attached. Please please pleaseeee change it back, it sucks to work like this 😭😭

When squeezing the Apple Pencil Pro you can’t edit the tools shown and/or rearrange them. Even if you change the tools in your upper toolbar it isn’t reflected in the Pencil Toolbar. It would be amazing if you could change the order of the tools, as it was in the old good notes, because it would greatly improve workflow. For example: pencil, eraser, lasso, marker (instead of the chaos now)

I don’t use or like the pencil writing tool. Can you give the ability for us to move it or hide it from the toolbar? When I squeeze my Apple Pencil, I also wish to remove it from those options as well, or at least be able to put the tools in order of preference.

Switch back to the customizable squeeze toolbar function. I don't know what the idea was to remove that?

This is still useless! You need to revert back to the level of customisation from GN6.
- Make the Apple Pencil pop up menu customisable like it was in past. Current ok your is useless as I have to scroll to find my most used tools. The pop up is meant to save time, not waste it…- revert the elements menu to appear wherever you click on the screen. It’s a pain to click the element menu, find sticker, click on it, find it in the page somewhere, move it into position, then repeat that all over again for every sticker required.

To make working in GoodNotes smoother and more intuitive, it would be incredibly helpful to allow users to switch back to the previous toolbar layout. Many people are used to the old interface, and sudden design changes can interrupt established workflows. Offering an option to toggle between the new and previous toolbar would give users more control and make the transition easier — especially for those who rely on familiar tool placement to work efficiently.
In addition, having a fully customizable Apple Pencil quick toolbar would significantly enhance the user experience. Everyone uses GoodNotes differently: some focus on highlighting, others on handwriting, sketching, or navigating documents. Being able to choose which tools appear in the quick toolbar would save time, reduce unnecessary tool switching, and help maintain a natural writing flow. A customizable quick-access bar would allow GoodNotes to better adapt to each individual user’s preferences and make daily note-taking, studying, or creative work more seamless and personalized.

let us customize the tools like it was before. for example i dont use pencil tool, and i dont want it to take space. also, when using apple pencil squeeze, i want to customize the tools. i usually switch between pen and highlighter, but the highlighter is hidden , so i need an extra swipe to choose it.

Please add the option to be able to customize and re-arrange tools on the pallet for Apple Pencil pro. This will greatly improve the experience for many iPad users

Why is the new eraser the third option in the palette, but the second option at the top? It's inconsistent and doesn't make for good muscle memory usage

With the new layout update, people with the ability to squeeze their pencils should be able to customize the layout to their pleasing.

I’d really love to have the option to rearrange the tools in the Apple Pencil Pro palette again.
Before the recent update, I could place the Lasso next to the Pen and the Highlighter right after which matched my workflow perfectly.
The current fixed order slows things down a lot, and customizing it would make the Pencil Pro experience feel much smoother and more personal again.Additionally, it would be great to have more than three Highlighter colors available in the palette or even the option to manually add custom colors.
This would make note-taking and color coding much more flexible and efficient. Please bring back the ability to freely arrange the palette tools and allow more customizable Highlighter colors! 🙏

I for the life of me cant find any options to change or rearrange the tools, pens, lasso, insert etc on the quick tool palette when you squeeze the apple pencil pro. Ive consulted google and the goodnotes website. This must not be a functionality currently available.
I believe this would be a massive quality of life upgrade if it was implemented. I will detail why from my personal experience
I personally use goodnotes 6 almost exclusively for note taking and to write out mathematical formulas.
I have the ability to squeeze and select my fountain pen and my three custom presets. Which is great because it is the first option in the tool wheel upon squeeze.
However then i must scroll past the pencil (which i never use)
Then the eraser, (which i have double tap function to select anyways).
At this point none of the next tools or pens are visible upon activating.
Then the Highlighter, (which i never use, because the three presets of fountain pen are so much better!! <3)
Then the brush. (again i never use)
Then the shapes which i use semi frequently.
Only then do you get to Lasso which is the most op tool in the entire app.
Then you must go past stickers(useless for me), the insert picture (great feature but not needed with in my quick tools, Text box (same as previous)
Then I get to my zoom window, another Op feature and my third most used item in the app after fountain pen and lasso.
So ideally if we can change and rearrange my pen's quick wheel I would have the Fountain Pen, followed by lasso, and then zoom window.
I would then delete the rest minus ruler.
Please give us this feature I know I cant be the only person who wishes to customize their pens tool wheel to suit their uses.
