The timer should have an alert sound
I tried the new timer tool and I like that I can see the time passing at the top but it doesn’t make any sound when the timer ends. I think it shows a message at the top but if I’m involved in different apps or in books and I’m not looking I miss it.
The timer should make a sound, an alert that tells me time is up.

I can't believe you can't make it visible and most of all, have an alert sound. Preferably, one you can customize.The presets are nice, but you should have definitely worked on that first. Corporate vs Real Classroom I guess.

Yes, the timer is so small that those of us who need to avoid hyperfocusing would never notice it! If a sound is impossible any other graphic alert that would at least interrupt the writing flow would do.

Yes alert sound. It’s pretty useless and the alert should keep playing until you stop it. Otherwise it’ll be easy to miss.
